Khan wilted under pressure in the late rounds against Kotelnik, and was hanging on for dear life in the last round, but Kotelnik doesn't have a big enough punch to take advantage. Kotelnik has a very good defence but Maidana found a way to get through to him with solid power punches throughout the fight. Maidana will get punches through to Khan's body. Khan holds his hands very high, and is vulnerable to the body. It is almost certain that Khan will slow down in the late rounds, due to body punches, and then it becomes a serious test of his survival skills. Those survival skills have not been tested since the Prescott fight, not once, so anyone who is certain that Khan will survive the late round onslaught that is bound to happen is either a nuthugger or naive. Khan is and should be the favourite to win, but should certainly not be considered an overwhelming favourite by anyone who knows boxing and is objective. It's an extremely intriguing fight, a great clash of styles, and will be exciting to the end.

i co sign that ****. khan imo is still not a battle tested fighter. if khan can deal well with maidana's pressure and proves that he does not have a glass chin like he is claiming. then he is probably the best at 140. but until then, khan is still imo "untested." and khans test is maidana, lets see if he passes or fails.
