it's a tough one to call, but as long as Khan boxes Maidana, keeps him at the end of his jab, uses the ring in it's full capacity - uses his superior foot work, I'm fairly confident Khan takes this. Khan's movement will be key in preventing a chin check...a hard chin check. I'm skeptical as well, but I think his chin can take the punches at a higher weight, it happens to a lot of fighters before they move up, I wouldn't stress it too much.

Maidana, well, he has to be Maidana, you're not gonna outbox Khan, ya gotta do what you do best, swing. Cut the ring off, try to time Khan's movement, direct him elsewhere and capitalize on the situation.....anyways, I got Khan by decision. It''ll be a good fight.

A month back 99% of this forum would have picked Maidana over Khan, but now people are changing their tune to cover their arses. People are only making Khan out to be the big favourite to diminish his victory if he wins. You can see it from a mile off. It's pathetic really. That's why I hardly post here any more.

Not true. A month ago, a majority of people thought Khan would probably win but were criticising him for not being willing to take the risk, especially as Maidana had been his mandatory for a long time. A large minority thought Maidana would win, and that's still the case.

Real boxing fans don't know who will win but consider this a fascinating class of styles, probably the most intriguing fight this year. Khan can win if he boxes perfectly for every minute of every round, but there are serous doubts about whether he can do that, which will make it exciting to the end.
