How can anyone on Boxing Scene hate Amir Khan

because he is the most protected boxer in the sport today. the guy obviously wont try to unify and wouldn't even fight a Maidana who is at best the 5th best in the division if not for the threat of being stripped of his belt

people hate him because khan's already a star, he's good looking, but he's still a ****** by choice.

i had to wait till i was 31, but not by choice. girls were just disgusted by my appearance.

if i was as good looking as khan, i would have lost my ******ity when i was 8.

true but that fight should have happened a while back is what I was saying I mean why fight Pauli? and once the purse bid went through his only options were to either fight or vacate the belt.

I don't think people hate him, they just know that he is protected. The dude has all the talent in the world, but he needs to back up all these claims of him being the best by fighting the best. I mean for crying out loud it took Maidana sending a letter to the WBA and asking for a purse bid for this fight to go down. Let's not forget the interview Khan had saying how the best way to go about fighting would be to wait until great fighters started to slip in skill before fighting them and building yourself up that way. I mean who says that? It was evident when he was trying to get a fight with Marquez that it was what he wanted to do. Now is the time for him to step up, which he will do by fighting Maidana.
