I don't think people hate him, they just know that he is protected. The dude has all the talent in the world, but he needs to back up all these claims of him being the best by fighting the best. I mean for crying out loud it took Maidana sending a letter to the WBA and asking for a purse bid for this fight to go down. Let's not forget the interview Khan had saying how the best way to go about fighting would be to wait until great fighters started to slip in skill before fighting them and building yourself up that way. I mean who says that? It was evident when he was trying to get a fight with Marquez that it was what he wanted to do. Now is the time for him to step up, which he will do by fighting Maidana.

Khan did delay that fight but he wanted his money. Maidana delayed it when it was contract time because he wanted more money. Either way, khan will stop maidana.

As for saying that he wanted fighters to slip before getting them, that is true but he knows he is not on their level at all. Mayweather and pac kill him. He should havekept his mouth shut, but all boxers look for weaknesses and go for it, even the p4p best.

hatton was undefeated with over 40 pro fights...not to mention he could draw over 8000 british fans when fighting on US soil...many people picked him to give floyd fits
