from 2005-2010 those are the BIG NAMES in WW in which Floyd has been there since 2005 (if i'm not mistaken). And that period of time Manny was still fighting at 130-135 lbs devision (we never knew he will fight in WW devision). Floyd in the other hand keeps avoiding those big names for the last 5 years and yet Manny who came from 130 and who now fighting at 154 division in just a short period of time.


Manny: fought Cotto, Clottey, Margarito (soon)

Floyd: fought Mosley (It took almost 5 years to grow a pair)

Because he beat Mosley and had easily the best Welterweight resume of any Welterweight at the time. In any case I didn't say he was #1, I said that he and Mosley were more or less considered joint #1, the way Pac and Mayweather are now.

That's not true. Against Foreman he looked the same as he ever did. And Clottey was under-rated. He went into survival mode against Pac, because styles make fights, but against most styles, he was considered a beast, and he would still beat the majority of Welterweights.

Let's focus on that name for a second. Who was Yuri Foreman before he fought Cotto? And who is he now? It would be one thing if he was a proven Elite boxer. But the reality is he was just a belt holder with feather fists and a mess up leg. Cotto beating him doesn't mean he's back to where he was.
