As much as I like the kid, I have to agree that He's not ready for Montiel now. Him and his corner need a little more experience before they fight him. But you have to admire his cojones. He's not ducking anyone.

Saying Cotto is american is like saying Margarito is american, especially when he was raised all his his life in Caguas, cant say the same about De La Hoya and Tapia. I cant even remember if those guys have even fought in Mexico.
You know I can use wikipedia too dont you?

Oscar De La Hoya (born February 4, 1973 in Montebello, California)[1][2] is an American boxer of Mexican descent

Miguel Ángel Cotto Vázquez (born October 29, 1980) is a Puerto Rican professional boxer.

You dont call american a guy that has not represented USA in the olympics or any other tournament for that matter, did De La Hoya or Johnny Tapia represent Mexico in the amateurs?

          BUT WAIT Theres More!!!

And last but not least with the triple champions category, Mexico and Puerto Rico are practically even in the triple champion category, but Mexico have had around 80 more champions(mexican americans included), does that mean they are scared of fighting bigger guys, or do they just suck at going up in weight? Someone should check how many double division champs they and ricans have, Ill probably do it sometime this weekend.
im just stating the truth he was born in the us and id doesent matter who presented who in the olympics for the most part boxing in the olympics is a joke

So you are saying puerto rican boxers are normally fat? The hell?

God damn you are ******. I was speaking on why we don't compete on higher divisions like we do on lower. I didn't say anything about Puerto Ricans. If they compete on higher weight divisions then as a population, I would assume you guys are bigger physically.

Calderon is a 5'0 midget with no power in his punches, that didnt stop him from going up in weight and fighting guys 4 inches taller than him, its not that they are bigger physically, its that they have the huevos needed to go up in weight.

No need to insult, but what can I expected from a guy who has a cold blooded killer in his sig?

Are you talking about the same Puerto Rican huevos that they use in the island cause I rarely see them uSe it anywhere else the majority of the best Pr vs Mexican fights have happen in PR gomez vs zarate benitez vs palomino caldero vs segura and cazares 1 & 2 limon vs camacho. Ramirez vs Rosario 1 & 2 Cuevas vs Espada 2 Cazares vs Dieppa 1 & 2 Margarito vs Santos 1 & 2 compared to perez vs vasquez and Cuevas vs Espada yeah you all have big huevos

PENDEJOS you **** fight on two island pr and ny and want to talk about huevos

                      !!!!!!what???????

********all we should ask is that pr's fight the best mexicans. Wilfredo's dad avoided morales and barrera(and jr jones and mckinney). Calderon avoided arce(and donaire) in his prime. Morel avoided tapia and montiel(and donaire). It goes on and on and on. Pr's will fight the best mexs if it's against a mex like odlh or chavez cuz the pay outweighs the fear of losing.******* whatever.
