I once had an enhanced friendship with a Puerto Rican and she told me that Tito was actually slurring a bit right before the Joppy fight....I speak fluent Spanish but this is supposedly something only on a native could discern, anybody else here agree with her?

I've heard Tito talking but to be honest i couldn't say whether he was slurring his words or not. She will have more of an idea than the rest of us i suppose because she comes from the same place. I don't know any Spanish so even if he was slurring i would probably think it was part of his accent.

Interesting...I wonder what it's from. I've never really seen Tito get beat up besides 'Nard and maybe DLH.

I think Tito can beat Mayorga...he'll certainly test his chin out. I give Tito a lot of respect for coming back straight to Ricardo. Tito TKO 9.

I am from Puerto Rico and I don't think Trinidad was slurring.
The thing is that Trinidad tends to speak too fast and sometimes forgets what he wants to say. Then he starts going back & forth because of that.As much as I like Trinidad as a fighter,I also recognize that he is not a fluent speaker with a rich vocabulary.

Does anyone have the pic from yesterday where Mayorga is looking at Tito, and is grabbing his nuts? That **** had me laughing my ass off. Whether you like Mayorga or not you have to admit he knows how to talk **** with the best of them.

I don't care who wins, I just hope it is a good fight.

I like both fighters alot but Ricardo is one crazy mofo, he just does not give a fook.
Imagine a night out with him!!!

I think people OVERestimate Mayo's power. We've only seen him KO Forrest, that's it. He couldn't KD Spinks and Judah did. He couldn't even KD the bum he fought last. People think that because he KTFO Vernon that he has this awesome power. He'd been knocking out bums in Nica like Pinto was doing in Brazil. I don't think he's as strong as people think.

He does have a good chin, tho, but that will be put to the test.

Hell yeah. I am expecting a Hagler-Hearns only WITH knockdowns.

Careful, you don't have to be a good puncher to put Tito down. Oba Carr, David Reid and Fernando Vargas were all modest punchers guess what they have in common?
