He retired to avoid his King contract. I'm sure his deal with King now is much improved over what it was. He was calling Don's bluff, making him squirm.

Very risky planning by Trinidad's father to make this match first time back....

i'm taking mayorga in this one. the man has no regard for his opponent's skill or power. he throws his punches with pure hate, and he swarms his opponent if they give him a inch....but all this could hurt him as well as 13-14lbs climb in weight.. tito has been know for going down getting back up and knocking out the other guy, it happens alot in his fights. they're usually flash knockdowns though. if mayorga gets tito down, i don't think it will be a flash knockdown, i think it will be the beginning of the end...

im gonna throw out a prediction of 4th rd tko mayorga...
i really don't care who wins, i'm not a fan of either, i just want it to be a game and exciting fight....

            Giving Mayorga a chance . . . .

Yeah of course . . . anything can happen inside that ring remember? If Mayorga can hurt Tito early and continue to impose his game plan. . . then he's got Tito's ASS..

I'm rooting for Tito . . . but if he should lose so be it, that means Mayorga is a better fighter.

Ha . . . ha . . ha . . . that's right Bro . . .very risky! But we should appreciate that act . . . very seldom you see fighters take on such big risk head on . . . the shortest way back to the top is to take the risk . . . if he fails then suffer the consequence . . . it might be end of the line for him.

trinadad aint too smart to take this fight ...mayorga if he even think he cought u with a shot throws punches fast as hell from wierd angles and he aint sloppy as tito thinks his arms are tight and the punches are short..the just come from every angle

He's a big hitter who is very hard to train for....
He fires shots from all over the place, & a rusty Tito may get caught.

But, Tito is the superior fighter.
He SHOULD be able to whether some early round chaos....settle in, & start landing those excellent, devastating shots of his....
I expect Tito to bust Mayorga up en route to an 8th rd TKO.

                  But...like I said....Mayorga absolutely is a threat !

I agree. Tito's the superior fighter. Definitely. Caution will be on Tito's head though coz the man in front of him is a serious threat, he don't wanna let the wildman spoil his welcome back party. i expect Tito to box Mayorga silly all night...but IF El Matador could lay those heavy hands on Tito...it's over! Bye Tito. Well, that's just a possibility IF.........

Of course Mayorga has a chance in this fight, anyone would be foolish to completely discount him. Who is really the underdog in this fight on paper? I ask this because we have Tito who is the most talented out of the two BUT hasn't been in the ring for the last 2 years and then we have Mayorga who has been active over the last few years fighting for titles BUT hasn't got the talent of Tito.

My pick is still Tito by stoppage, i think he'll come back with a ****.

Mayorga has a good chance. I am picking Mayorgy by KO in the early rounds.

I think alot of people underestimate Mayorga's quickness. If Tito does, it is over early.

I'd also like to see how Mayorga takes Tito's power.
