That's BS man and you know because at some point this guy gotta step his game up and Clottey who'd be hungry coming off a loss and already don't like Berto would be a good match...

And let's be real and most important, would probabaly beat Berto...

Also it was within Clottey's power to force a fight with Berto by playing the ratings game, and HBO might have splashed enough cash to make it happean since Clottey is a known guy to them (even if they hated him last fight).

If Clottey was staying at 147 it would be interesting if his own people would set him up with Mike Jones. I am pretty sure they wouldn't, so if his own side won't put him in with their top up and commer why should someone else be expected to do different?

Clottey is a nothing a nobody, Clottey isn't even that tough to beat as he finds ways to lose consistently. Who is often in garbage fights.

Looking great against some scrub with a glossy record will have greater efffect then edgeing Clottey by out hustling him.

Berto has shown the ability to hang tough for 12 hard rounds, can't same the same for Clottey~

U cant judge Clottey on one fight, a fight in whichg he was in for 12 rounds (albeit boring) with Pac Man...

What the hell are you talking about? He was in for 12 with Cotto and Tony Marg too (both close fights, I thought he beat Cotto)...

He sent Chico Corrales to retirement and beat Judah up pretty bad...

            This guy is pedigreed!

Nobody Berto has been in with is as good as any of the fighters I just named... Do your homework and stop judging off of one fight...

or maybe its because clottey is pricing himself out of fights by asking for half a million dollars??? i mean come on does clottey deserve half a million dollars after that last performance??? i dont think so...

This would actually be a very intriguing Match!!In 1 corner there's Clottey who always manages to lose based purely on inactivity!!Then there is Berto who doesn't really find it necessary to fight dangerous opponents!!

What a fight in which Clottey decides to average 55 punches a round look like??What would Berto do against a really dangerous fighter??

I'm not really interested in this fight but Berto should man up and up his competition level, Clottey would be a solid name for his resume if he could come out victorious.

Clottey is in paradise relaxing with his 3 million.

Because Berto will ask for like over 2 million in that fight.

And now cause Clottey got paid against Pacquiao he's gonna think he deserves a least a million.

No way HBO puts up over 3 mill for a fight between two prima donnas.
