Briggs suffered a broken nose, broken orbital bone and a torn bicep that will require surgery. Briggs was already slurring in his speech, who knows what further damage this fight did to him.

His trainers should be ashamed and so should the ref.

That referee should never be permitted to work another fight (strangely enough, he has a reputation for early stoppages in the UK favoring the home fighter).

By the middle of the 10th round, it became sickening to watch because Briggs couldn't defend himself.

Shannon Briggs owes me an apology for all his excuses he gives EVERYTIME. And then he will come back in a year and say how he's the only one who can challenge the Klitschko's and other nonsense.

Dude, you did NOTHING in Sultan fight, got extremely lucky after doing nothing against Lykahovich. The list goes on and on. I'm not saying he's heartless because it takes balls of steel to even step in the ring. But Shannon Briggs under-performs and never throws caution to the wind and goes all out. He doesn't even do half that.

When your losing, I have all the respect in the world for a fighter who says **** it if I'm going to lose it's going to be on my back. Not someone who just coasts through then blames asthama.
