Teddy Atlas owes Shannon Briggs an apology

I think Teddy Atlas should give a public apology to the very courageous Shannon Briggs for claiming he had no heart back when he lost to Wilson.

Briggs was clearly just caught off guard with his asthma, but Teddy saw a major flaw and quit as his trainer. Then, Teddy ran his mouth that Briggs has no heart.

In every fight after that, Shannon has shown tremendous heart. About 98% of other boxers wouldn't have had the heart to not give up after the terrible beating he took in the 10th round of Saturdays fight with Vitali Klitschko.

I kept thinking he was gonna go down but the stubborn bastard was determined to finish the fight.

I am sick of people giving credit for a fighter standing and taking a beating without even trying.

I credit his heart and chin, but let's be real, he was there to fight, not stand and take shots without hardly trying.
