Can any David Haye nut hugger out there, who still believes that the Klitschko's are ducking him please tell me what is it going to take to get Haye in the ring with either brother.

Really? I thought Haye said he had received a slave contract?
If it is 50/50 on all revenues, then don't see why not to accept
      it.

What happened to that Heavyweight, Tor Hamer?

You're being ridiculous. For one thing, to say that a 50/50 split is unfair to Haye when Haye has barely made a mark in the division yet, having only fought one top 10 opponent so far and barely beaten him; when the Klitschkos have dominated the division for many years and cleaned it out; when Wlad is the lineal champion; and when they are universally ranked #1 and #2; is pure nuthuggery.

Second, RTL is terrestrial like the BBC or ITV. Wlad regularly gets TV audiences of more than 20 million on RTL, compared with the approx 1 million PPV audiences Haye has been getting. Wlad's live gates are normally around 20k, but for his last two fights have been around 50k, again, far more than Haye's live gates.

Because RTL isn't PPV, it's possible they don't pay as much as Sky PPV. Buit if Wlad prefers to have a 20 million TV audience and receive slightly less money, rather than a comparatively tiny audience and receive slightly more money, then he should be applauded for doing so. PPV is killing boxing, it's one of the main reasons the sport is no longer mainstream like it used to be.

In any case, you don't know whether or not RTL pays less than Sky. Wlad may have turned it down for a completely different reason, because in his position I'd have turned it down. The reason I'd have turned it down is simply that Haye had already been offered a straight 50/50 deal and turned it down. He then had the outrageous cheek to ask Wlad to ditch his contract with RTL. And then on top of that, he then had the cheek to make Wlad an "alternative offer" to the straight 50/50 one that he'd turned down.

Now if I was the lineal Heavyweight champion with 10 successful defences behind me (now 11), almost all against top 10 opponents; and if I was confronted by such outrageous negotiating tactics by someone who has so far only fought one top 10 Heavyweight and who only sc****d a majority decision in that fight, I'd have told Haye to take his "alternative offer" and shove it where the sun don't shine. And so would anyone else in Wlad's position. And what's more, you know that perfectly well. So why are you still trying to defend the indefensible?

My sentiments exactly. Undefeated, Cuban, Olympic gold medalist in his prime with size and can punch and box.

Fat or not the man would be the most skilled opponent either brother has fought in years.

Man, i badly want to see Haye and Vitali now. JUst get Audley fight out of the way first, and Vitali can chill out for a while and see what happens on the horizon.

You're so out of touch it's hilarious. Solis was offered a fight with Vitali early this year but said he wasn't ready at that time; but is fighting Ray Austin on December 17 in an eliminator to be the WBC mandatory; and if he wins that fight, he will fight Vitali next year. So you'll get your wish soon enough. However, Solis weighed 268½ in his last fight and was painfully slow. Unless he sorts out his love of hamburgers, you'll be calling him a bum soon enough, and will be trying to pretend you never rated him, which is the duplicitous way all haters behave.

Most insiders agree with what your saying.. A lot of people get caught in the hype.. Including boxers themselves.. Like today when Vitali said no-one except his brother can beat him. Anybody can be beat.. There's always someone who can beat you and beat you badly.

Haye will charge PPV money in britain, while Klitschko wont, so Haye would be getting HUGE revenues on the fact that he is fighting the best heavyweight in the world while Wlad/Vitaly would only be getting whatever they get off regular rtl channel contract. This is not 50-50. Not even close, thats like saying Floyd should get all the PPV money generated from US, and Manny should get whatever he can from philipines.
                      Good post.
