When your getting hit with the lead hand a lot you should be getting worried, when your getting hit with the right hand often its time to retire. Briggs defense to the right hand was to try and turn away from it.

I was getting mad that the fight kept going. Briggs landed maybe 2-3 meaning punches all fight, there was no point in letting it go on. All he did was posture the entire fight the way he has for years. He acts like he's going to do something but doesn't do ****.

The reason he showed all the heart IMO and was in hope that he could fight Vlad, he even mentioned it at the end of the fight. Vlad may very will kill him if when he lands his right hand that often.

He should have KO'd Briggs with those numbers. Just goes to show a great knock out ratio can be misleading.

Klitschko show as usual considering Briggs as a real threat LOL he was just being paid for being a victim he never used his right hand ten years ago he was crushed by Lennox Lewis. Only in Germany this fight could happened I mean nobody in Ukraine would pay so much money for the fight.

i missed the fight but those #'s are why guys want to be paid better purses to fight one of these guys for a title....these guys could end your careers....i am surprised to hear no knockdowns....briggs has been dropped by lewis several times,wilson,mccline...mccline & lewis were big punchers though & vitali is almost 40 so.....it just is kinda surprising

i only saw round 9, and cant believe Briggs made it to the end of the fight, he looked like he was about to collapse at that stage

I felt bad for Peter after Wlad smashed him up, but this fight was worse than that by far. Briggs was out on his feet numerous times, like hands dropping, glassy eyes, staggering legs, then miraculously recovered only to take further punishment and repeat the whole process. Why the ****ney asswipe of a ref or the potty-mouthed bellends in Briggs's corner didn't stop this fight after the tenth was simply criminal and could very well have jeopardised Briggs's longterm health. This ranks up there with Lacy Calzaghe as amongst the most one-sided beatings not ending in a knockout ever.

We knew that briggs would gas out after 5/6 rounds, n he did. He could take the shots , but at his cost. Decent performance by vitali , but nothing special

Exactly. At first I was like, "Yeah! Go! Go! Vitali ranger!" then I was like, "uh, is someone going to stop it or what?" then I was all like, "urp, me starting feel sick," and then finally I ended the fight vomiting all over my laptop keyboard (yeah, I was watching the fight online, cheapskate that I am).
