And to actually think these British idiots belive Hatton can beat PBF is unfreakingbelievable. PBF is so fluid, probably, the most skilled boxer today. Anything Hatton can do, PBF can do it better.
Do the British overrate Hatton?

no ****...man Hatton is all about pressure and if you neutralize that he won't have any plan B because Floyd dominates him in EVERY aspect of boxing. The only person that is going to match Floyd is someone with around his speed. Hatton is probably Gatti's speed, I'm not even joking...Comment

Castillo did a pretty good job on Floyd and he's not dissimilar to Hatton.Originally posted by InThisCornerno ****...man Hatton is all about pressure and if you neutralize that he won't have any plan B because Floyd dominates him in EVERY aspect of boxing. Gatti is nowhere near as quick as Hatton, I'm not even joking...Comment

Actually Gatti is quicker then Hatton. Just look at Gatti's hand speed & compare it to Hatton. How many fights you've seen from Gatti. I'm not saying that Gatti is super fast, but he is faster then Hatton.Originally posted by Frank the TankCastillo did a pretty good job on Floyd and he's not dissimilar to Hatton.

I've seen 8 or 9 Gatti fights. I'd say they're pretty close on handspeed but Hatton has much quicker feet, which is why he's a lot more effective at closing down his opponents than Gatti. Floyd wouldn't be able to get away from Hatton very easily, he'd have to do his work up close.Originally posted by ParodiusActually Gatti is quicker then Hatton. Have you seen Gatti VS. Ward II, just look at Gatti he looked great in that fight against ward, his movement & hand speed. Gatti is a little quicker then Hatton. Floyed is not runner, he moves his shoulders more then his legs. He will stay right front of Hatton & he will counter him all night. That's how I see the fight. But I don't know if we will ever see this fight. It might never happen.Originally posted by Frank the TankI've seen 8 or 9 Gatti fights. That was a long time ago though and he's always going to look quick against Ward. The guy above was trying to use Gatti in his fight with PBF as a yard stick for how a Hatton v PBF would go. Gatti barely threw a punch and would have been beaten by any top 10 fighter with that performance. He had zero hand or foot speed in that fight.Originally posted by ParodiusHave you seen Gatti VS. Hatton wouldn't just stand in range and let Floyd potshot him like Gatti did. He moves in and out pretty quickly and would give Floyd serious problems, especially as PBF is pretty open to hooks with his defence.Comment
