      A resort along the Quezon coastline? Neat! I've passed through there a couple of times. A 10-hectare beachfront property! Wow! I've asked around; that's not too easy to come by! Not at a low price! You lucky you!

      Hope you get to do it pretty soon, buddy! If you do, you'll be able to do it well ahead of me! I'm still looking at 8 years towards 60. But we'll get into the real estate market, possibly, next year. If there's one in Cebu that we like, we might go and get it! We may have to go through some legal stuff about owning property there, though. We are aware of that.

      You can do it a lot earlier because you've got the site fixed.

          Yes, surfing is coming up fast in the Philippines! While at San Fabian, we took some side trips to San Fernando in La Union (the days when the sun was out; pause between two typhoons ). Surfing is alive and well in there! We were told in several conversations that the same is true in Southern Luzon...e.g., Quezon and some parts of the Bicol region. The even have surfing competitions, I was told! The last one was said to have been held in an island in Mindanao..I can't recall the name.

          You got an offer the day after!!! Whew! What can I say?!

          Your place can be one of those surfing hubs soon after you set it up!;

          You're destiny's child, buddy!

              i know that siargao in surigao (mindanao), la union (forgot the name of the town), catanduanes (bicol) and a small town in quezon where copolla filmed apocalypse now are great surfing spots in the philippines.

              yup, the filipinos are catching up in that sports!

                      Last time I and my wife visited, we got caught in the middle of two typhoons! Out in San Fabian, Pangasinan. Many Westerners don't know what a typhoon is. They have to meet one to know one! I've had my share...! LOL!!!
                      I thought they already did in Pacman!
