Joe is not even close to Lacy's muscle mass or strength. JC is not huge for supermiddle. Just look at my avatar. -
Lazy ain't really that big,he has awesome peaks plus the muscle definition,he looked pretty skinny when he was walking around the hood in the pre-fight footage.Lazy will be to much for joe,Lazy is younger, stronger and getting better with each fight. Is Lacy willing to fight at Joe's home town?Comment

hmm
What' all this talk about Joe "aging"? Are there really any signs or are the Brits just scared that Lacy will KO him so they need an excuse when he does? Exactly what has Joe been through that's made him an old fghter? Nothing. Mitchell wasn't the easiest fight for him but it only lasted like 2 rounds.Comment

no kidding, of course thats what thier doing, their already preparing for a calzaghe loss by downplaying him before the fight so they can say he was washed up afterwardsComment

Well since the loss to Calzaghe back in 2000' Shieka has lost a whole load of fights on the bounce. - That suggests to me that he's got old early. It is possible to be a shot fighter at 27yrs of age, just ask Michael Gomez about that.Originally posted by dansweeneySheika is 27 years old and is fighting beyer for teh wbc title soon, he's hardly washed up. nice way to take the most favorable comparison for calzaghe. how bout tough sd for joe over reid, but lacy tko'd reid in 7 and knocked him down 4 times? guess that ruins your comparison a little bit
There is a difference between the Robin Reid you saw on Saturday night, and the Robin Reid that fought Joe Calzaghe 7yrs ago.
Not long before Reid fought Calzaghe he'd won and defended the WBC super-middleweight belt 4 times. But that was a long time ago.
Don't get me wrong... Jeff Lacy's victory over Reid on Saturday night was VERY impressive, but It is worth remembering the situation and Reid's inactivity before Saturday.
I think Calzaghe will beat Lacy.
(P.S... Calzaghe is NOT washed up, or over the hill)Comment
