    Joe Calzaghe Vs Jeff Lacy

This is the first unification clash at Super-Middle since Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank met in 1993. Calzaghe is undoubtedly over-the-hill as proven in his last few fights, but Lacy isn't exactly a world-beater with his poor performance against a washed-up Reid.

    So, who wins this thing?

Seriously, what did Lacy have to do to make the win more impressive, blow his head off with a bazooka? He creamed Reid.

JuyJuy... Calzaghe is not "undoubtedly over-the-hill"... I predict - Calzaghe stoppage.

Didn't Bruno Girard beat Mitchell for the WBA title though back 1999 or 2000? I thought Ottke won the vacant WBA title.

He did win a vacant title, but he defended it two times before fighting Ottke.

i think lacy is too quick and powerful for calzaghe at this stage in joe's career. calzaghe has been in the comfort zone for years and he's gonna get a rude awakening when lacy hits him.

I don't think Lacy will KO him because he's going to run like Chicken De La Hoya did in the last 4 rounds against Trinidad. Joe will visit the canvas, tho, en route to losing a UD to Lacy in his Whales.
