I watched it again on youtube a while back the commentary team (Think it was hbo) were pissed when they read out the scores in Briggs favor

I was reading how Briggs is not ranked in the top 10 atm so i am not sure how he is a GOOD win. That's like saying Haye beating Harrison is a good win..

Not that i am complaining that much vitali fights a lot which is a good thing

There are no other fights available that do much for him at this point anyway, he is an old fighter on his way out taking the senior tour. Your trying to apply some standard that you would a prime up and comer which he is not.

A Soapy fan trying to criticize Klitschko opposition.

        Laughable.

Exactly, SOME of them are ridiculous.

But, I guess since Briggs is in good shape, the fight is a good SMH.

That's Vitali's choice of opposition for you.The sad thing is Vitali's always cherry picked like this throughout his career, not only of recent times. As much as I dislike Wlad,he is atleast fighting rated contenders.Vitali's claim to fame will always be catching the worst version of Lewis and still losing.

Vitali is a heavyweight champ though. I would understand your argument if he wasn't a belt holder but I think there are better opponents than Briggs.

Granted, Valuev *****ed out but a top 10 or even 15 guy would do just fine.

For the record I don't give a ****, just something to talk about.

                  Hopkins resume *****s on Vitali's.

And Hopkins next fight is against The Ring champ. Vitali's next opponent is against an irrelevant fighter. Might as well fight Holyfield.

I remember Foreman knocking out Moorer also when that seemed highly unlikely.

I have to see Briggs to judge him other than I know he can punch hard as hell and is pretty tough, but keep in mind punching hard as hell one of the biggest things in heavyweight boxing (more so that lighter classes).

I don't really care what Vitali does, he is one of the top two heavies in the world and he will never fight number 1 as it is now, number 3 is not trying to fight either 1 or 2 and number four is a blown up light heavyweight, if he wants the paycheck he needs to do something atleast Briggs has some pedegree and can punch.

Vitali should still beat the hell out of Briggs though, I wouldn't rate it as a big win for him but I have no issue with the fight looking at what else is out there for him.

Hopefully Solis beats Austin next. Vitali vs Solis should at least be competitive.
