Who here remembers when a 48 year old George Foreman BEAT Shannon Briggs?

Foreman was the aggressor for most of the fight. He hurt Briggs in the seventh round with a big overhand right that snapped Briggs' head back, and his powerful punches broke the young man's nose in the last round. Almost everyone, except for the three judges, thought Foreman had won. Two judges scored the fight in favor of Briggs, and one judge scored it even.

Foreman was not bitter about the decision and wished Briggs good luck in his boxing career.

that was foreman's last fight, which he should have won.

Who would have thought 13 years later Briggs would be still fighting for belts?

I saw it live but that was the only time I saw it and can only remember fragments of the fight because it was so long ago.

No its not going to be a fantastic win for VK but if he can stop him impressively in 1-3 rounds it has to be considered a good win.

So? they were both young, Vitali is older to now just like Brigg and even older than Briggs.

VK stopping him quick is a good win for him at this point.
