This is a great test to see where both fighters are in their careers. Ortiz has done a much better job rebuilding his confidence, I respect Peterson's skills enough to say this will be a good fight and competitive, but I'm taking Ortiz by decision.

This will be a close fight,I see Ortiz winning but it's gonna be a good one..Peterson is a step up from Harris and Campbell..Let's see what Ortiz will do with this shot..

Ortiz has KO power in both hands and is probably the 2nd hardest puncher at 140 behind Maidana

I predict he gets rid of Peterson in the middle rounds..

ortiz wants the rematch, maidana didnt.

if ortiz boxes instead of trying to slug it out, he wins pretty easily.
he knows the mistake that he made and he wouldnt do it again in a rematch.
I don't know, after reading a bunch of articles, they each were playing the blame game. Like I stated before, it may not be Ortiz, but it would be a bad move on GBP to put Ortiz back in there with Maidana. I just don't see Ortiz having the slick mobility and footwork to out box Maidana, I honestly think it would pan out the exact same way as before. Margarito-Cintron I & II all over again.

Hahaha, that would be hilarious. Speaking of protected fighters, could you imagine Ortiz pulling out, then Berto deciding he wants Peterson to balloon up to '47.

Naw I don't think so.Lamont will fight Ortiz but if and when it goes to the score cards ,then I can see gloden boy having a hand in the decision. then again,I think Ortiz will knock him out because Lamont will stand and trade but will lose because of Ortiz's power.
