He's hedging his bets, think about it. Peterson has a loss, by decision, against, probably, the best 140 pounder alive today. Ortiz has a loss by, what many say, is a lack of heart, and surrender, against a little kown and lesser opponent. Ortiz is not a sure winner in this fight and Peterson is not an easy payday. If Ortiz loses, he wont have to say anything else good, will he?

Too bad Lamont Peterson isn't Vivian Harris. Don't be fooled by Ortiz's last outing. I actually like Ortiz a lot, but as long as Peterson doesn't stand there and ****, I could see him winning an easy decision just based off his technical skills.

But then again, he could get duped into fighting his opponents type of fight like Anthony did with Rios. Perfect opportunity for both though, Peterson is a solid talent at'40 and can really rebound with a win over a high profile fighter like Ortiz whereas Ortiz could benefit off adding Peterson to his resume.

this is Ortiz not Rios.they fight differently .I don't know when was the last time you seen Lamont fight but he fights just like his brother.they both think they're body punchers and will stand and trade .they both fought old brawlers in their careers so that all they know.everybody thought anthony was gonna stick and move but thats not how they fight.I knew Anthony was gonna lose and so will Lamont.
