Dwyer has proved to be a guru at analyzing matchups. This isn't far off from what I think is going to go down. It's part of the reason I didn't want to see this fight take place (the other part is boredom).

Hopkins will completely neutralize Pascal's offense by blunting his bursts either by counter punch/butt and/or a clinch. If B-Hop can't land clean counters, he will have trouble mounting his offense as well until the last 3rd when Pascal slows down. It all will come down to if B-Hop can take control early or how long Pascal can hold him off to. Pascal can win if it's a posturing contest in Montreal, but not if Hopkins gets too brave too early.

first off, good vid, very eloquent. i would've have a lot of F bombs, hums, ums, huhs, ahs, and you know what i'm sayings in there.

but for the most part, FINALLY someone who really breaks down the quality of hopkins fighting style. i've been saying these things for years, and it's what has made me a real student of the game, watching hopkins. dwyer puts things very succinctly, setting up his explinations for what he was saying by giving backdrop on the who, the what, the whats up, the why and the how hopkins pulled it off. i've heard many people, announcers, internet heads, etc, say the same things over and over again about hopkins without really breaking down his game and seeing it for what it truely is and how it does hold a level of greatness.

i got hopkins in this fight, deep end of the pool type fight, with hopkins maybe getting the ko, tko, IF his old man armor can handle the young warriors assault?

                hopkins 11th round tko win.

cant watch the vid atm, did he pick hopkins by decision or KO?

Im thinking of sticking a few quid on a split decision win for Hopkins, Pascal is the home fighter and Hopkins lack of activity and spoiling style may lead to one judge (wrongly) saying Hopkins won. Odds for that are bound to be pretty good, havent checked yet.

he says, straddle the bet. hopkins to win/straddle with pascal by decision as a prop bet.

thats what i got out of it anyway. hopkins is +240 in casino's according to him at the moment.
