    I mean seriously. GTFO.
He also beat the tournament favorite in the first round.
This is a great fight and a great test for Ward. Nobody runs through Bika, I think this one will be very exciting.

And all in oakland , wow I'm losing respect for this guy quick I used 2 like him but his fighting style jus isn't that exciting at all I hate how he smuthers and grabs arm . Ewww
      You are full of ****.

      Kessler was the tournament favourite.

Funny how you don't rate Kessler since a young inexperienced Ward took him to school and made him look ordinary.

        Based on what?

The point of this whole tourney is to prove that, he is still green yet and doesn't have many fights under his belt and seen various styles up to this point.

              Based on.....

1.) Ward's mental approach, and skillset, in the Kessler fight. Simply superb stuff from a young inexperienced fighter

2.) Nobody but Ward has enhanced their reputation during this tournament

3.) It is clearly obvious that Ward is the most well-rounded fighter at 168.

4.) Bute is your only possible defence.....
and, what the hell has he done to prove that he is the best at 168?

Each of the following fighters have either shown mental weakness, or physical limitations, during this tournament..... Taylor/Kessler/Abraham/Dirrell/Froch/Green.... Ward has not shown mental or physical weakness at any stage during this comp..... he put on a very VERY mature performance for a young man in his first outing.

Bike is not a bad replacement for Dirrell even though I think Ward would beat him by UD EASY

I honestly don't see much options available, it is not many TOP 168 fighters that are willing to jump into a Tournament they have no chance at winning, the hate on Ward don't surprise me though especially on this board, Ward getting blame for something he has no control over

Ward has a superb skillset, but that is not what makes him so good.

He is a thinking fighter, and he has huge confidence and self-belief.

Smart fighters are always the most dangerous, it cracks me up when I see nubs post that Mosley gassed in round 3 coz he blew himself out in round two Fkn nubs. It's like they didn't actually watch the fight.

Ward will find a way to win, in fights where others would find a way to lose.

Mark my words, he is the real deal..... and if he remains injury-free he will achieve great things in this sport. And I don't believe that I am hyping him, I think that we have seen enough from him to be able to make a call.

                  He is special.

No ****, although..... I think it's actually pretty gay to say that

Ward is the best fighter in the tournament. Some of the Euros just can't handle that fact.

I don't know why people are being so negative about the Super 6. Shit happens in boxing, and the Super 6 has had its troubles, but thanks to Showtime we have had most of the top contenders in one of boxing's deepest divisions regularly fighting each other, to an extent that hasn't been seen in the sport since the '80s. Showtime should be applauded for persisting with it. Bika is ranked #6 by The Ring, so they couldn't possibly have got a more credible substitute at this point.

If it hadn't been for the Super 6, you can bet your life that Froch wouldn't have taken the risk of fighting Abraham, and nor would Taylor; Froch-Kessler would probably not have happened yet; Dirrell and Ward would probably still be fighting fringe contenders and neither would have fought a top 10 fighter yet; Green would still be fighting nobodies while being considered a top prospect; and Kessler would still be ranked #1 while fighting an occasional meaningless mandatory against a nobody. Instead we've had a lot of good fights, the top contenders are regularly fighting each other, we're gradually moving towards divisional clarity, and that will continue for another year.

The only serious flaw in the Super 6 was that Bute wasn't included in it; but as long as he fights the Super 6 winner soon after the tournament, that is liveable with. And the Bute-Super 6 winner would then become a superstar of the sport.
