We have 5 decisions worse than Mayweather/Castillo I every single month in boxing.

None of those decisions ever have immediate rematches.

This is why I don't give any credence to all the Mexicans crying for their boy JLC, who can barely formulate a sentence in any language at this point in his life.

Close fight, i had Mayweather winning by 2 rounds. Can see why Castillo can make an argument he won but i felt Mayweather was winning the start of the fight handily and did enough in the middle and later rounds to earn the victory. I was also impressed that he gave an immediate rematch and dominated.

I had Castillo winning the first one by a very narrow margain. It's been a long time since I watched it though, so I'd need to rewatch it to post an actual score.

Either way, the fight was close, and I remember thinking it wasn't a robbery.

Apart from that, he got the instant rematch and clearly lost that, so JLC fans just need to get over it. Not that one has anything to do with the other, mind you.

              I don't think anybody's "forgot" it.

His cuff was torn, we all know that.

But it doesn't have anything to do with the scoring of the first fight.

Bringing it up is just excuse making.

We all know Floyd wasn't 100% for that scrap, as he proved the second time out.

But the isue here is the scoring of the first fight, regardless.

No one is saying he was 100% at the end of the day it is what it is.......if he wasn't 100% that was on him.....

                  Rd. FMJ - JLC I

                  1. 10-9
                  2. 10-9
                  3. 10-9
                  4. 10-9
                  5. 9-10
                  6. 9-10
                  7. 9-10
                  8. 9-9 (JLC wins round, -1 point)
                  9. 9-10
                  10. 9-9 (or 8-10...tough call to make. Hardest Round to score all fight). -1 pt FMJ.
                  11. 10-9 (yet another tough round to score. I give it to Floyd based on accuracy)
                  12. 9-10

My score was 114-112 JLC, with an acceptable 113-113 DRAW.

115-111 was Bob's money in the judge's pocket.

I had Mixed feelings for this fight. Mayweather has always been one of my favorite boxer because of his skills and overall athleticism. However, I was a big fan of Castillo, the way he worked the body was excellent. I had no real favorite, I honestly said let the best man win. I wasn't really aware of Floyd's condition, I was 13 years old at the time and I didn't bother to know many details about upcoming fights. Anyway, I rember being excited for Castillo on later rounds as he was looking more dominant. To me he was winning and I still think he might have done enough to beat Floyd. Then we saw the second fight and I was impressed by Floyd and I thought any doubts were cleared as he adapted so well for the second fight.

First time I scored it, I wasn't a fan of Mayweather becuz he had just beat Oscar, and I still had him winning by 1 point. Second time I payed more attention the swing rounds. And I scored it 2 different ways, one way (giving Castillo the swing rounds) has Castillo winning by (idk the exact number) around 7 rounds. The other way had it for Floyd by maybe 1 round, 2 max. So really, it just depends. That's why boxing needs a new scoring system. Judging is too flawed.

In the end, do any *******s truly believe Pacquiao beat Marquez the second time?

That all being beside the point under the circumstance that even if the judges that scored the fight watched it again and feel Castillo should have won, Mayweather will still be undefeated. There's nothing they can do.
