RIC I had Floyd 115-113 but IMHO it could have gone either way. You can see Floyd was hurt the first fight if you’re a fan like me or you will see he didn’t handle the pressure of JC's come forward style if you’re a hater. The thing that save Floyd is he gave JC a rematch right away, he says it’s because the fans called for it, but if you ask me Floyd felt like he had to go fight JC again because he didn’t think he won that fight. That's my fav boxer but I call em like I see em.

Doing a lot of holding, and hitting on the hold doesnt mean you won. Thats all he did. Held, and hit May arms and his back while holding. The ref allowed that shid too. But that shid didnt impress any of the 3 judges. He did it in the 2nd fight as well, the thing is that May was more healthy the 2nd time and Rog peeped it and told the ref

The crappy judges score cards are what make most people cry "OMG OMG Castillo was robbed".
If the final score would have been something like a MD or SD to mayweather, then these topics would never be made.
People are influenced too much by Harold Lederman's score cards. The man isn't perfect and often gets many score cards wrong. ****....he had Mayweather - Hatton real close, when in reality, Mayweather won all except the 1st round, if I recall correctly.Comment

Not again. Jesus.
Scored the first fight for Floyd. Thought he put enough of the earlier rounds away. Its about how many rounds you win, not how much damage you do over the course of the fight. Castillo may have landed the better punches and more of them, but on a round-by-round basis I thought Mayweather won. I would have been comfortable with a draw also, but no way could I see how you could give the fight to Castillo, having watched it several times.Comment

Prob best post of thread......green K and gift on it's way.....(if the store is open)Rd. FMJ - JLC I
1. 10-9
2. 10-9
3. 10-9
4. 10-9
5. 9-10
6. 9-10
7. 9-10
8. 9-9 (JLC wins round, -1 point)
9. 9-10
10. 9-9 (or 8-10...tough call to make. Hardest Round to score all fight). -1 pt FMJ.
11. 10-9 (yet another tough round to score. I give it to Floyd based on accuracy)
12. 9-10
My score was 114-112 JLC, with an acceptable 113-113 DRAW.
115-111 was Bob's money in the judge's pocket.Comment

I haven't watched it forever but I remember having it close for Castillo. Floyd schooled him the second time.Comment

The first fight was a close and scrappy fight, you could say that Castillo did enough to get the nod but you could say the same about Floyd aswell, Floyd won most of the first 6 rounds (a lot of people say 5) that means that he only really had to win a few more in the later ones to get the nod, quite a few of those rounds were close where either fighter could have gotten the nod. Not a robbery in my book, just a close fight where Floyd could be considered fortunate and Castillo unlucky. Apparently he had an injured left shoulder before that fight though, which kinda explains him changing to southpaw early on.
Second fight was fairly competitive but I think it was quite clear that Floyd deserved to win that fight, he did more than enough and in most people opinion won more than enough rounds to get the decision, nobody really questions the second fight.Comment
