williams was already scheduled for a fight and he wasnt anywhere near 147 at the time. that fight really wasnt too probable. the fact is floyd gave everyone what they wanted after the pac debacle. hindsight is always 20/20 and the sad part is that this always seems to be the case with floyd. sure he does a bunch of dumb ****, but ppl like to pick apart his career by saying who he should have fought after he shuts down a fighter. did it when he fought zab saying he should have fought baldo, did it with baldo saying he should have fought margs. and now with shane too.

no one wanted him to fight zab after he just lost to a god damn bum and they certainly didn't want him to fight that same bum. floyd with the help of the media hyped up those fights while deflecting attention away from the real threats like margarito, cotto, and williams. look how he did the same thing to pac. he sabotaged the negotations so he could land a fight with a 38 year old mosley. then he refuses to fight pac even when he agrees to everything! are you seeing a common theme here? he never fights the top guys he always finds a way to fight the lesser fighter he knows he can beat.


ignore margarito and fight judah and baldomir. are judah and baldomir as good as margarito? no, not even close.

ignore cotto and fight hatton then fake retire. is hatton as good as cotto? no, not even close.

ignore pac and fight marquez and mosley then fake retire. are marquez and mosley as good as pac? no, not even close.

there's always an excuse about oh he made more money fighting this guy but that argument has more holes in it than swiss cheese when he turns down the biggest money fights of his career against cotto and pac. he doesn't fight for the most money! he fights whoever is easiest and can make him the most money in the process of winning.

Mosley was not allow to fallow with anything after that light punch which almost KO d Floyd.

FBI should definetly investigate that fight.
