I don't remember that,I do remember Cotto's inexperienced corner telling him after the second round to boss up on Pacman cause he's bigger & stronger though!!Pacman lost the 1st two rounds by the jab alone, but whatever!!

so now you guys take Roach's word for gospel? i thought he was 'full of ****' the other day

like i said, i like Shane...im happy he got a Floyd fight instead of a PAC fight...getting potshotted from for 12 rounds is much better than getting murked

it's not hindsight. after judah lost to a journeyman margarito was the most credible opponent out there. people wanted him to fight margarito instead he chose to fight a journeyman instead of a guy who had consistently been ranked as the best welterweight over the last 5 years. everyone in boxing knew margarito was the much better and deserving fighter and floyd refused to fight him. there are endless articles about this if you want to search i'm sure you can find them. i'll find a few.

Margarito is the man Mayweather Jr. chose not to face despite the fact that the money for fighting Baldomir was virtually the same. Instead, Mayweather Jr. chose to face a slower and less explosive version of the Tijuana fighter

put boxing insider instead of asteriks

This is all just another lame excuse from a marvelously talented but mysteriously hesitant and reluctant fighter who doesn’t seem to have the courage to fight or even commit to fighting Antonio Margarito in the near future.

Call me a pessemist but I still beleive - and more so than ever - that Floyd Mayweather is afraid of and afraid of getting knocked out by Antonio Margarito

It's often said that Antonio Margarito is the most feared welterweight. It's also said that none of the top fighters in the division will go near him, most notably Floyd Mayweather Jr.

you put a sitting duck target in front of PAC, as Shane was, and its an ugly sight

im glad it was just Floyd in there
Shane is only a sitting duck in front of boxers.. not sluggers. Shane himself is a slugger and he performs best against other sluggers. You can't say that Shane would function the same against two fundamentally different fighters.

you might have thought he was full of ****...i didn't..and why are you changing the topic? Why drain an over-the-hill boxer below 145 if he serves no threat? Who knows pacquiao's capabilities than his own trainer?
