Cedric Kushner has done a poor job of managing and promoting Tua.

David's had long periods of inactivity that certainly didn't help him pay his debts.

Who knows, he hasn't fought anyone half-decent in years.
When Briggs beat Foreman he won the lineal Heavyweight Title. That means he was the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the world. Give the proper respect.

The TUACLOWN is certainly a pitiful case these days. No wonder he always talks about eating at Burger King: that's all he can afford these days. This guy just can't get his act together for any length of time.

Briggs is a two-time past HW champion of the world. Tua has never won any version of the HW title. Just the facts.

I would know that better than almost anyone else. But anyone who has seen the fight knows that he did not really beat a near 50 year old George Foreman.

Briggs became lineal champion in one of the worst robberies I've ever witnessed

Briggs said right after the fight he would have to watch the tape to know whether he won or not

can't give him respect for that

you can give him respect maybe for coming from way back in the fight against Liakovich and scoring the last seconds KO (for an alphabet title)

I agree that Tua has more names on his resume than Briggs. But even Tua in his absolute prime was severely limited. A Lewis or Klitschko would have always shut him out in every round, regardless of whether or not he was in his prime. Tua not only lacked height and reach, but also the ability to get inside and do damage against good boxers. Briggs is at least gifted physically, as well as being a huge puncher and has a certain craftiness that Tua doesn't have. They have both failed to live up to expectations, but at least Briggs can say he had Lewis in all sorts of trouble. Tua just had a long nightmare.

Against tall boxers like Klitschko and Lewis, Briggs at least has an early chance, whereas Tua simply has none at all. The Barrett bout wouldn't have looked so bad if it had have been the Barrett of old - the solid gatekeeper. But it was a Barrett on the verge of retirement who was beaten in 2 rounds by someone 40lbs overweight.

Tua over-prices himself out of the fight because of his tax problems, that should be rather obvious. The Klitschko brothers aren't likely going to give him more than a million, because he doesn't deserve it, but he won't fight for less. There is no point to it as he would be fighting for nothing.
THat's my point exactly, better make a mil and use that to pay down your debts than to make nothing at all. He is ducking.

Wlad just wants to get a ring with anybody, especially someone with name recognition, he loves fighting, unlike some gay @ss posers (Diva Gaye).
