You owe money and you aint fighting and you dont even want to earn more money than you have earned in recent years?

If Tua is to ever fight the Klitschko brothers, he wants to get paid a lot for it. Fighting for 400k, with the tax problems that he has, is the same as fighting for nothing.

Unfortunately Tua's worth nowadays is not a whole lot more than that. Being paid more than million would be generous to him, but that's what it will take to get him in the ring with the Klitschko brothers.

I don't want to see the fight, but if it's the only way to settle Tua's problems and to stop him from fighting, it's fine with me.

it is sad that these fighters all do the same mistakes : while they make a lot of money, they spend a lot, just as if it would last forever, but boxing is a young men's game

Tua must have made a whole lot of money, and now, he can't pay his medical bills, what a shame

I'm 99% sure RJJ is broke and is forced to keep on fighting not to start selling his cars and stuff

these guys need better financial advice while they're still able to make money

He is much worse than Briggs - Briggs is two-time champ, how many times has Tua won the belt?

I am quite sure Briggs wouldn't have tied with Barrett or would have gotten knocked down by him.

$400K, if it was that (that was a hypo used by Tua's manager and not a real number), was a starting offer, I am sure the Klitschkos would have paid Tua at least $750k, Rahman got $1.2 mil from Wlad when he stepped in on a short notice.

Tua would probably have been offered 1 million had he dispatched Barrett in emphatic fashion

In that case Briggs must be better than any fighter who never held belts, right? Briggs won a robbery over an ancient near 50 year old George Foreman for the WBU belt and pulled off a 12th round comeback KO for the WBO belt. Other than that he hasn't beaten anyone and has lost/struggled with some very mediocre fighters. Atleast Tua can claim to have beaten Ruiz, Maskaev, Rahman, Moorer.

I am quite sure Briggs wouldn't have tied with Barrett or would have gotten knocked down by him.
Who knows, he hasn't fought anyone half-decent in years.
