Reid was outclassed last night, beaten by a younger man.who looked
    world class.
People seem to forget that Lacy hasn't started his career
any better than Reid did all those years ago.
Reid won a world title away from home in italy 4 years after
winning his bronze medal in the 92 olympics before losing the
    title after 3 defences.
Lacy defended his world title for the 3rd time last night
which he didn't have to leave the us to fight for,4 years
after competing in the 2000 olympics.

Jeff is so surrounded by hype, etc. that alot of peeps hate him for that reason only (which is unfair as hell) For those people alone, nothing he does will ever be good enough. I like him alot and was impressed with his win...I think he brings alot of class to the sport as well.

The post fight interview was extremely entertaining. Reid making excuses, Lacy's trainer telling him to go watch the fight. Reid saying he was knocked down by getting punched in the back of the head, then showing the KD where Reid was dropped by an uppercut in the chin. That was classic **** right there.

Haha yeah it was so funny how Reid thought he was only knockdown by the overhand rights to the back of the head. He was but how he didn't say **** about the uppercuts ROCKING HIS HEAD it just hilarious. Lacy's trainer was like no you got hit with flush shots watch the tape.

I agree, it's just hard to beleive that, after that impressive KO, that this is the worst, i've heard people talk about him, I my be a lil bias because i am from Tampa, but i thought Lacy put on a great show last night. He KO'd a man that 43 others where unable to even hurt.

Like I said before Reid has been fighting ***** slapping suckers in England. It's no surprise he got the beat the living **** out of him when he fought a real boxer.

I dont understand what fight you all were watching; he looked like Mike Tyson coming off a his 3 and a half year layoff!!!! Reid was a bum from the get-go, holding for dear life the entire time.. all im saying is not alot of punches connected solidly, and when he goes up against a real fighter, who actually isnt scared to fight, a fighter that takes him into the later rounds, well see how many of those exhasting bombs he has left... A boxer would have torn him apart last night.

He didn't have to worry though, that's just it. Had he been fighting a better opponent who tried to box him, he would have held his hands back and bit and tried to work harder... He didn't need to last night. Last night he was just letting his hands go because he knew Reid didn't stand a chance.

To me Lacy is a lot like Jose Louis Castillo. He is a skilled sluggger. There are no Maywheathers or Coralles's in his weight class. It will be interesting to see how Calzaghe does.
