What has been said about Naz not training properly is factual, theres evidence for it unlike your complete exaggeration of the actual fight. Barrera boxed a discplined fight and won 8-4. He didnt beat up Naz. The "schooling" is very overplayed.

No the schooling is not overplayed. I hate Naz (as a person) and I love to see that fight BECAUSE he gets schooled.

He was no doubt a good fighter, however he's not the greatest featherweight of all time, purely based off of resume.

          His resume lacks

naz was a great fighter no doubt, only if he didnt get too big for his boots and would of stayed with brendan ingle he would of took MAB apart imo.they were supposed to fight before the jones fight but MAB got kncked out so it didnt happen,if it would of back then, naz would of won

silly boy had too many yes men around him at the end of his career, the day he walked out on ingle was the day he went downhill, only his power and speed saved him in certian fights before MAB beat him

Very good fighter, but massivly flawed.

i should have used this video instead

disgusting how people say "if he would have trained harder.." etc. that's idiotic. if that's the case, anyone can use that excuse for anyone who ever lost a match.

My complaint about Hamed is that he had a shot at All-Time Greatness in front of him and his head wasn't on straight enough to take the chance at true immortality his career had been building to.

That Morales-Barrera-Pacquiao triumvirate; I believe those fights would have defined Hamed as legitimately Great if he'd lived the life. Instead, his professional fire dampened as his focus and discipline gradually unravelled until that first defeat, whereupon he just faded into history with the fire snuffed out completely.

He had an excellent career, but he could have been Immortal. A waste, and it still angers me when I think of it.

The sheer size and occasion of Hamed's fights was becoming Epic, too. If he'd fought Barrera in the physically sharp and mentally focused state he should have been in, that fight would have been Titanic as a fight. Win or lose, Hamed fights with Barrera or Morales (and maybe Pacquiao) would have only gotten bigger subsequently. Which means boxing also missed out...on what potentially could have been some of its All-Time Great showbiz marquee nights.

                      No, dummy.

Gving your all to your preparation and losing gives you no reason for regret. You gave your best, it wasn't enough.

Being the worst prepared you'd ever been on the night you fought the best opponent you'll face in your career is a whole other matter.

The standard of Hamed's preparation declined over a number of years. What part of that don't you understand?
