Everybody with a grain of sense expected Reid to do much worse than he did last night.

Do worse? He did bad enough I think! The only reason he survived for 7 rds was cause he kept holding one and tying Lacy up. At the end of the 6th and all thru the 7th all he did was wait for Lacy to come at him so he could duck down and grab him around the waiste...forcing the ref. to step in. He dodged, run and hung on the last two rds so I dont know how he could have looked much worse..unless Lacy got him out of there sooner, which he would have if he wasnt being held so much and hadnt head hunted to the degree that he did.

Lacy killed Reid. Reid looked determinded during prefight but fell apart quickly one he was not allowed to hold Lacy all the time. Reid got owned. Period. And Reid is NOT washed up.

I'm telling the truth though.. Reid had no chance because he was so washed up yet he did much better than expected whilst looking very washed up, so what does that tell you about Lacy? I expected Lacy to be much more dominant than he was, purely because Reid is so washed up.

He lost every round and got knocked down 4 times. How can you be more dominant then that.

lacy beat reid easily and yes reid was just there for the payday a lot of you guys say that calzaghe looked awfull in his last 3 fights and i agree. however all through his career he has always just gone through the motions when he fights bums, and he has fought a lot of them BUT when he fights against a good fighter it takes him up another level, this is the big one for calzaghe he knows lacy is a major threat and i believe calzaghe will box very carefully in the early rounds as lacy becomes more frustrated calzaghe will open up more and stop an outboxed lacy in 9 or 10 rounds.
