First off, he was at the hospital for two and a half hours, which is pretty common. Second, have you ever been knocked out before? I've seen KO's by lesser punches man, everyone is different, everyone reacts differently to a blow, so unless you're a doctor that has physically examined dirrell you cannot say for certain one way or the other.

I don't terribly care much. Dirrell is piling up such a résumé of either su****ious or outright dubious action that eventually people are going to have to stop giving this guy the benefit of the doubt.

Exactly. Procedure. When a guys gives the appearance of fitting at the end of a boxing match, they're hardly to go take a risk on not checking him in.

I've been badly concussed in blunt-force fashion. And nobody told me that my foot was twiching mock-spastically while I was laid out. But that's not my point even.

Did you feel any of those punches to call them lesser? Just because a punch looks innocuous or its obscured by an angle, it doesn't make them lesser.


There are a variety of reasons why his 'seizure' has been questioned, not just whether or not the punch was deemed glancing or light, and they've been gone over to death.


You'll just have to accept that I believe, and I don't even like to say it, he was faking to get out of the fight.

no i don't. taylor had been knocked out by pavlik & then froch before the AA bout. so of course his trainer thinks he needs to take a chill pill after being knocked out for the 3rd time.

again. heres the facts. dirrell was knocked out by AA. he was rushed to the hospital...he complained about pain inside of his brain.

the docters as of now are saying he CAN'T train or even fight because studies could be showing that he has something seriously wrong with his brain & nervous system. WHAT IN THE WORLD CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT?

The pain in his brain hasn't stopped negotiations for a fight involving him being ongoing for months.


Taylor was discharged from Hospital after being observed for two nights in there. He was disgnosed with a severe concussion.

Dirrell bopped out of the hospital fat and sassy after a couple of hours.


Lou DiBella is not Taylor's "trainer". He's his promoter, a guy who makes money off him and has every reason to keep him active. He didn't tell him to take a chill-pill, he urged him to RE-TIRE. Then he broke ties with Taylor. Get it?





So, what's your line when we see Dirrell in the ring in the near future? Got one prepared?

Thank god that Gary cleared this all up, if Shaw says it's legit then without a shadow of a doubt it's a sham. Honour your contracts, is that too much to ask. What a farce, hopefully HBO and Bute don't give this guy the time of day.
