Did Cotto make Pacquiao a Puerto Rican star?

I live in Miami and there's a pretty big Puerto Rican population here..

and one thing I've noticed about all Puerto Ricans is, no matter who they are or if they even like boxing or sports at all for that matter, they always watch their boys.. it was Trinidad before and Cotto now.

That said, every single Puerto Rican I know and have talked boxing to, says Manny Pacquiao is like the greatest thing in the world(likely because he ****d Cotto) and they all say he's unstoppable- even against Margarito.

Am I correct in my observation? Ricans?

What's Ironic is at the time, Cotto was my favorite fighter(even though marg ruined him with plaster) and though Manny's my boy, I was kinda rooting more for Cotto.

Im not rican but i know a couple of them and they dont like cotto cuz hes a **** really, well not really a **** but hes a melo quiet kinda guy while trinidad was more of a peoples person and tito really loved his fans and his fans loved him, ricans **** suck cotto a lot cuz thats all they have going for them.

im talking about ricans on the island...here cotto is nothing and juanma is everything right now... but cotto gets lots of love from ricans that dont live here
