I have to feel this is Wlad positioning himself for Haye.

        1. He takes away another potential Haye challenger. By destroying Chisora he makes sure that Haye doesnt plan on fighting Chisora next December or whenever he will fight after Audley.

        2. He starts to at least get seen by more British people. I have to believe many will tune in to see the fight and the ones who dont will at least hear about it. This will provide bargaining power if the fight does well in England.

Derek Chisora accepting the fight with Wlad makes Haye seem even more cowardly.

Chisora's popularity will increase even if he loses.

And if he defeats Wlad, he'll become more popular in the UK than Haye.

It doesn't make him look cowardly. Chisora has no leverage in negotiating, so has to accept whatever terms. Haye is not an opponent, he brings something the Klit's want. It's that simple.

I do agree that Chisora's stock will rise as it's a win win situation.

It's not a done deal yet, Dimitrenko is still in the running for this fight.
