You make a very good point. Compare Ruddock to guys like Peter, Areola, and Sanders. Hell, even Bruno would have whooped those boys.

People who keep bringing up Wlad's losses are ******ed. It's like bringing up Pacquiao's KO losses. It's totally irrelevant.

Wlad is just entering his prime. He has clearly improved greatly since those losses. He hasn't been down or hurt in over 5 years. He hasn't lost a single round in over 5 years.

Wlad has a very impressive resume.

      - Most dominant fighter in the world

      - Has cleaned out the HW division

      - Lineal/IBF/WBO/IBO/RING Unified heavyweight champion of the world

      - Olympic Gold Medalist

      - 49 KOs in 55 wins

      - Has made 16 dominant world title defences

      - Has defeated 8 world heavyweight champions:

      Chris Byrd I (31-1)
      Chris Byrd II (39-2)
      Sam Peter I (24-0)
      Sam Peter II (34-3)
      Ruslan Chagaev (25-0)
      Sultan Ibragimov (22-0)
      Lamon Brewster (33-3)
      Hasim Rahman (45-5)
      Francois Botha (44-3)
      Ray Mercer (30-4)

      - has defeated tons of top contenders:

      Eddie Chambers (35-1)
      Calvin Brock (29-0)
      Tony Thompson (31-1)
      Jameel McCline (28-2)
      Monte Barrett (23-0)
      Ray Austin (24-3)
      DaVarryl Williamson (20-2)
      Axel Schulz (26-3)
      Derrick Jefferson (23-2)
      Charles Shufford (17-1)
      Eliseo Castillo (18-0)
      etc....

Wow...just wow...is their any hope for the boxing community?

Wlad hits on par with George Foreman?

Well lets see, Ron Lyle, Earnie Shavers, Gerry Cooney, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, David Tua, Sam Peter, Max Baer, Sonny Liston, Rocky Marciano, Razor Ruddock...and the list goes on forever, those are all fighters that hit harder than Wlad...Foreman, Shavers, and Liston hit WAY WAY harder than Wlad...Face it guy, heavyweights of today suck, and the Klit brothers were born in a horrible time for their talents...Sam Peter is probably the hardest hitting contender today, to bad he is a overall ****ty fighter, and his power is compared to Tyson's, whose power is NOT comparable to Foreman's and Shavers', they hit way harder than Tyson, who knocked out Mitch Green's teeth with a JAB inside of his MOUTHPIECE O.o It's not even close, Wlad is a above average puncher for the heavyweight division at best.

          Vitali Klitschko:

          - has dominated every opponent he has ever faced.

          - 38 KOs in 40 wins, greatest HW champ KO% of all time.

          - great chin, never been down.

          - has never trailed on the scorecards.

          - only man ever to be world heavyweight champ in boxing AND kickboxing.

Vitali is almost 40 now, came back after a 4 year layoff and is still dominating the heavyweight division. His comeback record is 5-0, 4 KOs. He hasn't lost a single round in his comeback.

Wlad the most dominate fighter in the world? I think not, that belongs to Pac or Floyd....

And his resume that you posted is less than impressive, it is nothing. Jameel Mccline? Couldn't beat Valuev. Ray Austin? A journeyman, Monte Barrett? Another journeyman, Axel Schulz? Over the hill, Derrick Jefferson was regarded as a nobody in his PRIME, Brock and Calvin are two more fatasses disgracing the division today.

Sam Peter is slower than CHRISTMAS, and almost completely devoid of any talent whatsoever as a boxer, Chris Byrd is a overblown lightweight, Rahman is another fighter that is just painful to watch, a bum, Botha is another pathetic excuse for a prize fighter, and Ray Mercer is old enough to be Wlads damn dad man....

Face it, their is noone alive today that can get to the level to display any sort of legitimate talent from the two Klits, a fighter like Mccline and Rahman is nothing in comparison to a Razor Ruddock or a Tommy Morrison. The heavyweight division is dead, and its only talent is the Klit brothers.

He didn't dominate a OLD Lennox Lewis who took the fight on short notice and STILL WON. Don't bring that percentage crap here, not with his resume. Their is noone that either of the two Klit brothers have beaten that was legitimately great, they were born at a ****ty time for boxing and have nothing on the resume to say they could stand even a prayer against Tyson...Especially Ali or Foreman...Wlad was KOed by Sanders, that is he was physically unable to stand those punches, Tyson's would just crush him....

                THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was hurt several times in the fight.

                punches landed

                Vitali 156

                Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

                Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

I agree Wlad is all that, but don't over rate the guy. Imagine if a faded Tyson after prison had these bumbs in front of him and didn't have to deal with guys like Holyfield and Lewis. He would have rained for many years as champ and be considered greater than he actually was. Bottom line, the Klit brothers are not being tested and its taking them too damn long to knock out bumbs. Remember how careful Wlad was with Sultan Ibragimov? All he would do was jab the guy because he was afraid to open up on him and get countered. Tyson was ten times better than Sultan Ibragimov. How could any knowledgeable boxing fan think Wlad would have acted any different against someone like Tyson? It takes much more than a freakin jab to beat Tyson, Frazier, and Foreman. Now go to bed Son, you have been owned. lol

Yeah, a 37 year old Lewis who came in over his normal weight and only looked great in his last two fights because he was fighting past prime faded fighters. You look at how Vitaly was holding on at the end of that 6th round. he was hurt bad and ready to be knocked out. Thats why they stopped the fight. The reason why they let it go on so long with such a bad cut was because of how good he was doing early on. Imagin Vitaly fighting Lewis in his prime. Lewis would have beaten him easily.
