In wlads fight with charles shufford he had one of the sickest right hands I have seen and Emanuel Steward was commentating and said that his right hand was one best if not the best he's ever seen. Remeber this was years before steward became wlads trainer.

    Look from 5.00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klKDaG5du3c
Ray was always a tough SOB, thats very true, but I can't help but think that Wlad would have been far from KOing Mercer in better days

Most fighters simply don't possess the speed and power to make that shot count. Tyson does, but you can bet he'll be eating some heavy leather whilst doing so. It's my belief (based on watching a number of their fights) that Tyson would start to get increasingly frustrated when he isn't able to get into a rhythm early and finding the majority of his work nullified, even if he is getting in with the odd good shot. Wlad, on the other hand, would be expecting a rough few opening rounds but would gradually start establishing his rhythm later on in the fight as is his wont. True, Wlad hasn't fought anyone like Sanders for a while, but Sanders was a big man, and a southpaw to boot. And the Wlad of today is much better than the Wlad of back then. I think that's more or less a given. Tyson has a great shot, but he'll need to be at his very best.

Anyway, I'm going to bed. It's been fun people...
like i said. tyson has fought similar sized fighters such as wlad. Lou Savarese was a big 6'5 heavyweight with a beautiful jab. not saying lou is anywhere to that of wlad though. but mike has always been smaller. wlads weight isn't really a advantage against mike because most of the guys mike has beaten were bigger then him. thats nothing new.

brewster in the first fight against wlad had enough to get by wlads jab & stop him. brewster is only like 2 3 inches taller then wlad & brewster is NO WHERE NEAR on the level of a prime tyson.

to be honest wlad trying to clinch tyson would fit in tysons favor. wlad would catch so many uppercuts his brain would fly out of his skull. mike would LOVE for wlad to clinch once he gets passed that jab lol

mike has 2 ways to win it. knocking out wlad in the 1st or 2nd round. or bobbing & weaving on the outside & then forcing his way in to break wlad down. kinda like brewster did but at a MUCH effective level. i actually see wlad being knocked out in the 2nd or 3rd. i think 88 mike was a master at getting pass a jab & exploding on a opponent. i seriously think wlad would be a 2nd round victim because mike would firgure it out early.

here is the ICING ON THE CAKE AS TO WHY A PRIME 88 TYSON BEATS WLAD. look at Andrew Golota who's a big heavyweight & who fights very much like the klits. look how a OLD fat out of shape tyson slips andrews jab & FORCES his way on the inside with bombs....LOOK AT THAT HEAD MOVEMENT. wlad would be lunch meat against a 88 tyson LOOOL

        No.

        The equation is E=mc2
Thats mass times velocity squared equals power/energy. This is why car crashes only slightly faster can be many times more devastating because velocity is squared.

Why can little welters and light weights still knock out guys with one punch to the dome? Because they have the speed. Even though on average human skulls are built the same way with regards to how thick the skull is. It takes roughly the same force to concuss the brain of anyone regardless of size.(within reason eg man vs man 300lbs vs 150lbs, Not man vs child)

If you've ever used a bag that measures PSI strength of a punch you'll see that the fast punchers who use their full body to throw a punch have the hardest punches. Big guys with slow punches only have the mass.

Exaggerating things to make a point. I'd rather be hit by a bus at 5mph than a bullet.

Tyson threw punches with is whole body and was fast. Look at his hook to the body. Now that's power.

It's probably close on paper. Wlad has more weight and leverage but Tysons punches are coming at a much higher velocity, they both hit hard but Mike was just straight up a better puncher than Wlad. You see Wlads punches coming, you never saw Tysons.

What's so funny? Are you ******ed?

Both Klitschkos have higher knockout percentages than Tyson.

              Vitali - 39 KOs in 41 wins

              Wlad - 49 KOs in 55 wins

              Tyson - 44 KOs in 50 wins

tony Tucker was Wlads height, Tyson got inside. tucker was 35-0 and in great shape, much more mobile and quicker than stiff Wlad. Let's not forget Wlads glass jaw. Tyson by KO.

                  That's a ******ed comparison.

                  Wlad >>> Tyson

                  Vitali >>> Tyson

                  The truth hurts.

                    Wlad's chin is underrated.

And Wlad is 1,000,000,000,000,000 times better than Tucker.

                    Another ******ed comparison.

How many of their fights ended within the first 5 rounds. your the ****** one learn how to calculate. Wlad and Tyson have the same ratio of KO's. Tyson fought better opposition in his PRIME.
