What I like about this trilogy is Morales always fought back when Pacquiao started pressuring him. He responded just a few seconds later, just when you think Morales is out of it he swings the fight towards pacquiao. This back and forth action was amazing.

The rematch means nothing, since Morales was completely dominated by Zahir Raheem in the fight prior. Where he lost every round and then had to cut down to 130 for another fight with Pacquiao. Any true champion would have fought the winner of that fight but Pacquiao fought the loser and made him fight a division below his natural weight and still struggled to beat him.

He got elevated into the p4p #3 for beating a shot fighter who was comletely and utterly dominated in the fight prior. It doesnt make sense.

the rematch was already set even before the raheem & velazquez fight, they were supposed to be tuneups

its not pac's fault that erik was schooled by raheem

and what makes you think 135 is erik's natural weight at that time? the raheem fight just proves that erik would be too stretched for this weight

if the rematch happened at 135, the outcome would still be the same

erik already past his prime but not definitely shot during the rematch

he is, on the 3rd fight
