    David Tua gets KOed:

A 17 year old Ruslan Chagaev defeated Felix Savon in 1997.

Savon won Olympic Gold at heavyweight in 1992, 1996, and 2000.

If you are going to count amatuers you are only hurting your own cause. Maskaev knocked out Vitali in the amateurs which is why Vitali ducked him throughout his pro-career.

This is what Tua did to the man who floored Vitali.....

gotta go tua, the HW's were a tougher lot when he was coming up and through them vs the division where the klits came up through............

the klits got stopped by the caliber of guys that tua was walking through and knocking out with one punch.(minus byrd)

but the klits has persevered through their troubles and have exstablished themselves, although a weaker division but they still did it and are dominating it, tua didn't, he got lazy, and then got lazy with his business side things and let people screw him over because he wasn't paying attention and that lead to a long time out of the ring, time that tua had he been focused could've been a long time reigning champ.............

flip a coin as far as achievements got on who has the better standing but tua has the better resume, tougher opponents and cleaned out the ones he was supposed to too.....................

using your logic....Ricky Hatton has a great resume because hes got Tszyu,Mayweather and Pacquiao on it...means nothing if u got beat by them.

I'm gonna be a bit controversial and say that yes Tua does have a slightly better resume than either brother (not combined though, that's silly) but when you look at it he lost pretty much all his big fights and was often en route to losing many more before scoring a come from behind KO with his monstrous power, a get out of jail free card that has more or less defined Tua's career. And whilst he lasted the distance with Lennox where Vitali didn't, he was totally outboxed and lost every single round whilst Vitali gave Lennox one of the fights of his life and was ahead on the scorecards before the doctor's stoppage. I certainly know which losing performance I'd rank more highly. You can harp on about "resume" all you like, but ultimately it comes down to this: both the Klitschkos have for the past several years utterly dominated their opponents in a fashion rarely if ever seen in the heavyweight division, and even if the names on their resumes aren't as impressive as the names on Tua's resume, the manner in which they beat them certainly is.
