Joe beat Bernard up, forced him to fake injuries to buy time, won the fight clean and clear and he did it in Bernard home country.

There's still no excuse for not giving him a rematch other than ur a scared bi.tch
He didn't dominate Hopkins, thats for sure.

He picked Hopkins becuz he thought Hopkins was an out of his prime big name he could pad his legacy with, but it turned out the old man still had far more fight in him than Joe was expecting. The result, Joe does barely squeaks out a split decision, and puts Hopkins on his list of people he will never fight againl.

Too much play acting, feigning injury, holding, delaying etc. I think Calzaghe was the only one trying to win a fight.

Calzaghe won. Hopkins best rounds were the first few. Then he just did all he could to disrupt the fight and catch a rest. Awful fight. You think anyone really wanted to see a rematch?

calzaghe only landed a couple clean punches the entire fight how is that beating him up? hopkins fakes injuries to buy time in a lot of his fights. he did it against roy jones doesn't mean he lost. hopkins won clearly if you use the correct scoring criteria. clean punching, defense, "effective" aggression(missing is not effective), and ring generalship. it was a pro calzaghe crowd and calzaghe was a rising star on hbo. that's why he got the decision.

if calzaghe was the only one trying to win why was he hitting air all night long? are you saying he's not a good enough boxer to hit a 43 year old man? why would he deserve to win then?
