JOE CORTEZ also won a fight for FLOYD against HATTON.

HATTON beat the crap out of FLoyd and he knock Floyd down with jab in round 1 and then Cortez jumped in to help lil FLoyd.

I don't understand how people think this fight was so close. I had Joe winning like 115-112. 114-113 absolute worst case. It was a clear-cut Calzaghe win. And I've watched like three times, and still think the same thing. Bernard simply did not do enough. (Much like against Jermain Taylor in their first fight.) And I'm a big Bernard Hopkins fan........I'm also a realist though.

I had it the same 8-4 for Joe with Hop getting the point for the kd in rd1, Hopkins just didn't sustain enough effective offense after the 1st quarter of the fight.

even in slow motion people refuse to believe the truth. calzaghe landed virtually nothing! and hopkins kept hitting him with clean counters and sneaky shots over and over(aka boxing). god damn you guys are biased. all you can say is hopkins held and faked low blows. still no valid reason why a guy who can't land clean punches should win a fight. cause hopkins made it dirty? yea hopkins made it terrible but he still clearly won.

hopkins was not hitting air. i urge you to once again actually watch the videos where you will see him hitting calzaghe with crisp clean punches over and over(that's why calzaghe's face was busted up) hopkins hit calzaghe most of the time he threw where as calzaghe hardly ever hit hopkins and when he did it was a grazing slap punch to the back of the head or shoulder/back.

as the video says why would calzaghe be rewarded for flailing and missing over effective punches?
