That's what I'm talking about with JCC Jr. He's the easiest win for Manny over an "undefeated" fighter from Mexico with a record to "rival" Floyd's. Plus his legendary father's name who beat Floyd's uncle Roger previously as a selling point. Have JCC Jr fight for "Mexico's honor" and 'revenge' for Margarito's loss to Manny, have Julio Sr. in his corner, have the fight on May 5th 2011 (Cinco de Mayo), and in house money for Arum. Makes too much sense NOT to have that as Manny's next option.

The most obvious choice would be to opt for the Mayweather fight. If it doesn't happen then I think Manny should seriously consider retirement. If he beats Margarito in spectacular fashion, for the record Manny doesn't have anything else left to prove. It's Mayweather vs Pacquaio or retirement. I'll probably get shot in the ass for just saying that, but im thinking logically for Mannys sake, he has accomplished enough in his career, although Mayweather would be a nice name to his record especially if he was to win. Other than that, Manny has no where to go, Period. JCC jr would be a good option but still for Manny it doesn't really prove much by beating him in my opinion. It's Mayweather vs Pacquiao or nothing, that's the truth. Quit thinking about Manny fighting needless fighters that wont add anything to his legacy. Manny has done it all pretty much already man, I don't feel he needs to hang his career out any longer.

So tell me. Besides a fight with in house "undefeated' JCC Jr who's legendary father has beaten Floyd's uncle Roger in the past... Who do you actually see Manny fighting now that Floyd has run away for good?

Or do you already consider Martinez, P will, Bradley, Berto, Alexander, Mosely wins on Manny's record? K.O'd ALREADY?
You are seriously an idiot. What makes you think a protected fighter like Chavez Jr. is gonna be thrown into the fists of Pacman? Career ending beatdown. Arum is not ******, this is the worst match-up you can think of for Chavez Jr.

Besides, your thread is useless anyway because you are acting as if Pacquiao never wanted to fight Mayweather. This already ends the discussion for me, it's repetitive and false. But if you must know....I don't really give a crap who Manny fights, if it's not Wifebeater Mayweather. He's already secured his legacy (unlike others) and I have a feeling he will retire if the Mayweather fight does not happen. He is the true P4P king, haters can hate the game, not the player.

BUT...like others have mentioned already he won't go into Martinez territory. Hell no! Probably back to WW to fight Berto/Bradley? Who knows....but he's certainly not screwed like you described ya mindless douchebag.

Exactly. Pacquiao has nothing else to prove, I really wouldn't be surprised if he retires after Margs, that's if Mayweather vs Pacquiao doesn't happen of course. If Pacquiao beats Margs in convincing fashion then besides Mayweather, he doesn't have anything else to achieve. He can retire now, without having to worry about his legacy, his legacy is already embedded in stone!

How long do you see Manny defending the vacant belt?

You can't answer. Because you know the truth. Deal with it.
              ***** admission, huh?

Catfish may not defend the trinket. He might go for Matinez and then retire for good.

I'm telling you, with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr's "undefeated" record mirroring Floyd's, plus his legendary father's name which alot of the general public know's plus piggybacking off the fact Julio Sr. beat Floyd's trainer uncle Roger previously and the "Mexicutioner" status after Manny beats Margs, the in house money for Arum, and having it in the spring on Cinco de Mayo. That fight would definatley bring big numbers promoting it. The general public will only see Chavez the legends undefeated son. Plus Manny the great on Cinco de Mayo and using the fact Julio's dad beat undefeated Floyd's trainer uncle Roger as well...Manny wins that fight it will boost him up no matter how crappy Julio's record really is. People will think "Oh Man! Manny just beat an UNDEFEATED son of a legend who beat Floyd's trainer uncle Roger! IMAGINE what Manny would do to FLOYD!"

No other fight for Manny would be as safe and could be promoted better. I challenge ANY of you to name one being that Floyd is out of the picture.

yes a viable a opponent for manny....more specifically, manny's pockets.
                    its marketable and extremely winnable.
                    end of.
alvarez/jcc jr would be the plan if it werent for the warring factions. regardless, having manny on jcc jr's resume, win or lose is not a bad thing. in fact that would increase exposure which would make an alvarez fight down the line even bigger.

^^At least someone uses their God given brains.^^

Manny's fans are content with him beating #21 P4P Cheato whom Mosely destroyed as a "high note" to Manny's career.

Poor kids aren't even sure or have good reasons they can stick to for who Manny should fight next. Manny's fans are calling for his retirement.
