Manny's legacy has not been in question of late. Floyd has. So if Manny did retire, it would not hurt his legacy.

That being said, it had appeared that HBO was hoping that Mosley would pull out a good performance against Mora and fight the winner of Margo vs Manny. Mosley's performance may have killed that one but time will tell. So that is one guy that you mentioned.

I can see Manny fighting most of those guys you mentioned. While I'm sure he would be in for a good fight against a Bradley, Devon and Marquez, I doubt very much Manny would be scared to fight them if he is still on a winning streak. Bradley, Devon and Marquez did not look spectacular in their last fight so what's the big deal, he will conclude.

- I see Marquez getting KOed.

- Roach would look at Devon's last fight and expose what already had been exposed in his last fight. Devon is still young and hopefully will learn.

- Bradely didn't look good in his last fight but I can give him the benefit of the doubt as he fought at 147. So even though Bradley's plan was to come up to 147 to fight a Manny and get a big pay day, I would suggest he goes back down and hopefully makes Manny come down to his best weight.

- I can see a rematch against Margo, if the first one was good or a Cotto if Cotto impressed us under the reigns of his new trainer.


As for the 154 and 160 guys you mentioned, we really need to take it one step at a time. See, before we could have possibly thought that Manny would dare fight a Cotto, he had to gauge his performance against Oscar and then Hatton. Only then did Manny/Roach feel somewhat confident to fight against a Cotto and then a Clottey at a full 147.

Same goes with the 154/160 guys. We need to see him fight Margo. If Manny has difficulty against Margo then it would be highly unlikely that he will choose to fight against those guys.

If Manny beat Margo decisively and if Floyd is not available, Manny may take on one of the big boys as his final challenge and call it quits.

Remember that it's Manny and Roach who decide and both have said they will fight again several more times.
