I don't see how this is screwing Manny since he'll be active, although not in very significant fights. He can somewhat make 147 now, so anything higher than that would probably be catchweight. I see him going back down to welterweight.

Bradley could happen since Roach wanted to use him as a sparring partner for the Floyd fight. Berto is another possiblity as well.

Then there's the feud with GBP. Can't do anything about that.

Only in house option left is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Cotto rematch? Will do LESS than Manny vs Margs. Why? Because Manny already destroyed Cotto and will be coming off a "win" from a known cheater that will do poorly in numbers as it is.

He won't fight even OLDER Mosely, P will, Alexander, Berto, Bradley,Martinez let alone fight the undefeated Mayweather who is ranked higher than all the previous mentioned, let alone take a simple series of blood tests to fight for the biggest fight of his life vs his biggest challenge.

So who else does Manny fight besides an in house bum of the month beater in Julio Cesar Chavez Jr? MORE fighters coming off losses, on their way down at Mannyweight? Can ANY of you name ANY options that Manny will take besides??

Next up JCC Jr. Only "undefeated" in house fighter that rides off his legendary father's name, who's beaten Floyd's uncle Roger previously.

That or retirement. Manny isn't a throwback "I'll fight and does fight" all up and coming challengers old school fighter. The "innocent little boy" persona will soon grow old as more and more people realize Manny only fights washed up, beaten boxers for paper wins at his weight.

Do yourselves a favor and write a "wish list" of fighters besides Floyd you'd like Manny to fight. See how much of it becomes reality.
The thing is, this is how boxing works. Sometimes there's options and than sometimes there's not. That's the cycle of boxing.

Someone will step up, the same way Pacman stepped up to fight Hoya. No one ever saw that coming a year before it happened.

So in all honesty who do ANY of you see Manny fighting next if he never fights Mayweather?

His options are SERIOUSLY limited. The fighter's I've mentioned at the beginning of the thread pose a serious risk towards the 'end' of Manny's career.

The only one who makes sense is in house JCC Jr. who has "beat" trash.

Any of the others have beaten MUCH better comp and no one can disagree they are all better boxers, fighters than JCC Jr and would pose a much greater risk.

Again, think about it. Manny's screwed. Write those names down and see how many of them get checked off Manny's list of actual future had fights.
Because he got a nasty beat down and there is really no point to a second match. Just because someone is given **** to eat and one of the turds didn't taste as bad as the other ones. That doesn't mean he going to eat out of the same turd that wasn't as gross as the rest.
haha...that's a good anology...I like it

Pac will be done with boxing in the next year I think and so it won't matter

I dont think this is the case....first of all even if he wins the belt he doesnt have to defend it immediatley, if at all (choosing to vacate). He can go back down to 147 where their is Berto im sure that fight can be made, there is Mosley if he chooses to defend..Im sure Manny would take it now. Williams vs Martinez winner is there ready to fight, not sure about that one but one never can tell. There is also a long shot in the winner of Bradley vs Alexander moving up to 147 to fight him...this hasnt been mentioned anywhere but its a fight that makes sense. I see Bradley beating Alexander and weve already seen him fight at 147 so that one could be made. Im sure there is even more I didnt list, Pacquiao has plenty of options.

after the Margarito Massacre, and if the Floyd fight still doesnt get made, IMO JM Marquez has the best chance of landing a fight with Pacquiao.

Sure Manny has plenty of options. The question is "will he use them". IMO he won't. JCC Jr than call it a day. The others mentioned pose a serious threat towards the end of Manny's career.

If he wants to leave on a high note with someone he has a good shot of beating it's JCC Jr. The rest will be a problem.

Everyone and their grandmother wants to fight Pacquiao- it's like winning the powerball lottery, don't see how he's 'screwed'. He'll have a line going around the block with guys holding their ticket hoping their number is called.

And if Paul Williams gets tagged by Sergio (again) win or lose, I could see him surprising a lot of people and taking on The Punisher at 147.

Manny will not fight Julio...you can bet all your many on that and win. If you are criticizing the opposition he has faced in the past you cannot that Manny rarely faces fighters who were at the very least pretty good at one point in there careers. JCC jr has never been relevent, I think you just dont like Manny and are hating...
