I think I let the DLH fight cloud my perception, because any real boxing fan knows DLH won..... But I'm not jere to talk about that....

I'm here to talk about a man of the people, a man that loved boxing and still loves boxing. A man that that fought any and everybody and didn't duck anyone on the way up the ladder of success....

I hate that that gave him the fight against DLH and that he beat two of my favorites in David Reid and Vargas....

I didn't start appreciating him as a fighter until after he lost and started to wind down his career.... The guy fought any and everyone....

I hated when he kept low~blowing Vargas, how they gave him the fight against de la hoya, & I really hate when he cheated on his wife.
But he also defeated my favorite fighter Sweet Pea. ****in elbowed his Jaw.


I think he got what he deserved against hopkins. For cheating on his wife.

But there's no doubting he's a kick~ass fighter.
He fought everybody it was depressing to see what happened against winky and roy.
He's still the man no doubt though.
He never ducked anybody and he's a funny guy.
He gets Knocked down and then he KOs the guy.
Hahaha.

That said he's my father's favorite fighter.
But to me he's a great fighter but, sorta dirty.
But still I respect him.

Didn't Camacho and Calderon fought that way their entire careers? He used he's legs to keep Tito out of balance. Late in the fight he did run, but on points he won.

No on points Oscar did not win. Even his biggest cheerleaders scored that fight a draw. Think about it.

Round 1 close round. Tito actually landed the best punch of that round with 30 seconds left a hook to the body that made Oscar back the hell up with a quickness.

Round 4 another close round, round 5 another close round. All these 3 rounds could have gone either way.

Last 4 rounds it was all Tito.

It was a close fight period. It was not a robbery not really controversial decision. Maybe Oscar lost it more than Tito won it. OK if you want to make that argument then make it.

However, Oscar couldn't deal with the pressure. Everybody says he listened to his corner blame it on the corner. But, his own corner told him after round 10 which all he did was run. "Not another round like that". And, what did Oscar do? He kept running. Because, he couldn't outbox Tito he was getting hit more and more.

I use to share office space with the cousin of Tito's ex promoter, so he obviously met Trinidad many times, and showed me the pics together. I use to think he was ****y but i was told he was much more down to earth than Cotto. Never was a big fan of his, but he did alot of heart even when he loss to Bhop, he never quit.
