I hate that that gave him the fight against DLH and that he beat two of my favorites in David Reid and Vargas....

I didn't start appreciating him as a fighter until after he lost and started to wind down his career.... The guy fought any and everyone....

    DLH
    Pernell
    Reid
    Vargas
    Joppy
    Bernard
    Roy Jones
    Mayorga
    Winky

And just plain out went out to make the biggest and best fights...... He was loved by the fans and he returned it with probably even more love than they gave him.....

Felix "Tito" Trinidad, you are the man..... Not only a man of boxing, but THE man of the people.....
I didn't like that much 'cause he wasn't a great boxer. And he usually didn't have a game plan, but man he was very exiting, and a great power puncher.

I remember watching his fight with Vargas as a kid. One of the fights that got me absolutely HOOKED on the sport. What an incredible fight that was.

Trinidad is an ATG, ths is the reason why you can't let 1 fight cloud your judgment on a fighter, Trinidad was always special but your liking for another fighter caused you to under appreciate and not fully experience Trinidad the way you should have, Tito is an ATG from Puerto Rico nobody can take that from him..

Tito was the foundation of puerto rico during that era.

He fought with alot of reputation.the magnitude of reputation he carried could nervously crippled alot of boxers.

In shorts words if i can define trinidad the boxer it would the greatest boxing finisher of all time.

I had Tito winning 115-113(7 rounds to 5) against Oscar.

                lol @ Htown.

Any real boxing fan know that fight was close fight due to Oscar running he did not have a clear victory. It was a competitive fight due Tito pressure that Oscar couldn't handle.
