I think I let the DLH fight cloud my perception, because any real boxing fan knows DLH won..... But I'm not jere to talk about that....

I'm here to talk about a man of the people, a man that loved boxing and still loves boxing. A man that that fought any and everybody and didn't duck anyone on the way up the ladder of success....

I hate that that gave him the fight against DLH and that he beat two of my favorites in David Reid and Vargas....

I didn't start appreciating him as a fighter until after he lost and started to wind down his career.... The guy fought any and everyone....

Every fighter has his tricks DLH special tapes on hand wraps, Tito extra gauze ect. But It aint plaster man, plaster can seriously hurt you.

I forgot to put names like Yory Boy in the list also.... He fought Oscar at 147 and was building his way up to 168 in just a couple of short years to fight Roy.... If Bernard wasn't there he would have ruled 160..... Give respect where it's due....

And by all the stories I have heard and by how he is with the fans, he is one hell of an ambassador to our sport... A fighter of the people...

Have you seen Hopkins hurt? Ever? I didn't think so. He didn't hit Winky with anything good, and of course when you go up in weight you lose some power. He didn't hurt Jones the fight was at 170 man.
