Pacquiao started out at 106. Not 130. He has been at WW for a year, and has fought or will have fought BETTER WWs THAN FLOYD DID IN FIVE YEARS. PERIOD. There's your fact. Nothing to do with being a fan of either because I know Paul Williams starches both of them out.
One more fact...MAYWEATHER JUST DUCKED PACQUIAO. HE GOT HIS DRUG TESTS, HIS REVENUE SPLIT, HIS LAS VEGAS CROWD, AND HE WENT ON 'VACATION' SAYING HE'S 'NOT DESPERATE'.
So there you go. How could Morales be so shot if he fought Barrera in such an amazing 3rd fight? And even if he was, he was still the best other than MAB in EVERY RANKING AT THE TIME. So if he was THAT shot, guess what? He was still the best AT THAT TIME. Zahir Raheem? He just finished getting schooled by Rocky Juarez, fought an out of shape, unmotivated, overconfident Morales and then went on to lose to Freitas. That's who Pac should have fought? Instead of Morales for 10x the money and the motivation of revenge?
Oh another thing, heading into the first Manny fight Morales had won 6 of his previous 7 with his only loss being a MAJORITY DECISION to Barrera. He beats Manny, starts having squabbles with his Dad, fights Raheem (a guy Morales saw as a bum) at LW and of course looks like garbage. But he definitely didn't look bad or his PREVIOUS SEVEN FIGHTS. He looked GREAT against MAB and Pacquiao. It was the opponent and the weight. He goes back to 130 and gets destroyed by Manny. Gets destroyed again by Manny, then ******ly moves back to LW to lose to Diaz. In a fight MOST THOUGHT HE WON. Who is the fanboy here? How long have you watched boxing?
And while we are talking about Hatton, do you not remember his fight vs Luis Collazo? HE LOOKED WORSE IN THAT FIGHT THAN HE DID LAZCANO. MUCH WORSE. But he then stops JLC is who is WAAAAAY shot and Floyd fights him because "he called my name". Hatton had NO BUSINESS fighting at WW and at least Pacquiao beat him at the weight he was the UNDEFEATED RING CHAMPION in. Oh...he DESTROYED HIM IN TWO ROUNDS.
Also, you can say all you want that Pacquiao ducked Mosley. He destroyed a guy MOSLEY LOST TO and if Mosley was with Top Rank I can guarantee you that Arum would have made that fight for earlier this year, considering Mosley was old, inactive, struggled vs Jose Luis Cruz, was down on a scorecard in the Mayorga fight, and up ONE point on another, and lost a UD to Cotto. Yeah, he beat Margarito. And you're saying Margarito's mind set isn't an excuse. Fine, Margarito is a bum. AT LEAST MANNY IS FIGHTING AGAIN THIS YEAR, AND AT LEAST HE DIDN'T DUCK THAT BUM DESPITE BEING OFFERED 8 MILLION AND PUNKED OUT IN THE STANDS IN FRONT OF EVERYONE IN THE CROWD.
