You probably didn't catch my last post, but I mentioned how he was testing the waters with Cotto. The catchweight was just a way of not stepping up too fast into unfamiliar territory, against someone of that stature. You don't go st8 for a top guy in the next division, you have to pace yourself, nothing wrong with that.
So DLH turned out to be old. But they didn't know that before the actual fight. So why fight him at 147 when that was at the time unfamiliar territory (they didn't know how he'd cope with DLH at 147.) What about people bashing Cotto (including Roach) that he was no longer the same boxer pre-margarito?

Roach said a few times before the fight DLH was past prime and he couldn't pull the trigger anymore. Roach knew DLH was shot that's why he made the fight with DLH at 147.

        Cherry picking.
Cotto, Margarito, Clottey. Pacquiao is beating the hell out of all the guys mayweather was too pu$$y to fight.

at 140 Khan and Bradley would be good fights. He beats Bradley and Khan would be the only guy with a remote chance. Alexander would be crucified he's an overrated hack.

          Wow, you really believe that?
DLH dictated the weight 147, not Arum or Roach.

I know that...I was responding to Boxingscenery and how he stated people didn't know that. So they knew DLH was shot that's why they made the fight at 147. By that logic, Pacquiao had already tested the waters at welter against DLH. Yet they decided to test the waters again against Cotto, even though Roach stated he wasn't the same fighter after margarita cheated. To top it all off, they demand a catch weight of 145.

Pac moved up to WW now, why would he drop back down for? Even if he did fight Bradley, Alexander, Ortiz, Maidana, and even Khan at 140 he would KO all of them. At 147, Pac would smash all of them badly. Its their styles, they wont match up to Pac's.

To say Pac is scared is a weak argument.

You must put this into consideration. All Pac fights at 147 he barely weighed in not more than in 144 and on fight night he weighed in just like a normal light welterweight. Oscar, Cotto and Clottey punches harder than any these light welterweight and Pac took them like nothing. So what makes you think Pac will respect these light welterweights punches? To have a slim chances against Pac, at least you can hurt him with your punches otherwise he will just overruns you.

Yeah and Mayweather fought the guy who destroyed margarita whom Pacquiao was too pu**y to fight, even at a catchweight at 145.

You know what even if Roach was the one who penned the contract, whos fault was it again that DLH came in looking like crap? Sure wasn't Team Pac's.
