Floyd is not even doing random testing so how can we expect his stable to be doing it. Just ask yourself, when was the last time that Floyd took the test... that is not random if you can go without testing until you sign for your next fight.

Mosley had admitted to PEDs so I can see why Mosley had no choice but to agree with those demands.

Big difference when Floyd ACCUSED Manny with no evidence. Manny either agreed or its now down to 7 days. Most people would say that is good enough. Floyd didn't come out against whatever Manny agreed to. ONLY FLOYD's FANS are now not accepting the 7 days, if that is what Manny said....

They set out a PR campaign to put pressure on Pacquiao to fold to Floyd's demands and it backfired.

Not one fighter from Mayweather promotions has undergone "OST's" and no other Al Haymon fighter has done so as well. It was all BS from the beginning.
I understand that OST is year round, but from the onset, Ellerbe stated that wanted OST for that specific fight. That was made clear from the jump. They didn't say "we're participating in OST at all times." They were at least clear about that type of testing being used for the time period between what would have been the press tour, training, and after fight.

Clearly, it didn't backfire because now there's speculation surrounding Pacquiao's most recent achievements and there' no escaping the fact that Pacquiao openly said no to random testing when athletes in the NFL and MLB aren't allowed to reject testing, and international competitors are obligated to test as well.

As I stated before, OST is expensive. What makes you think that the Texas State Athletic Commission would want to pay for Keith Debow to participate in the USADA protocol.

Mayweather's not the first to request random testing. Back in 2007, Zab Judah requested random testing of Shane Mosley but Mosley wouldn't agree to it. A couple weeks later, Judah injured his arm and pulled out of the fight.

They can't even make it up to the day of the fight like they claim they would. If it does happen, it would most likely stop at 18 days again with all sorts of silly excuses.
If it's just some PR stunt, why did he continue to see the testing through against Mosley?

calling someone a cheater and making him take non-sanctioned tests that no one else has to go through to prove otherwise is a different matter.
A $10 million penalty is very unreasonable seeing that Mayweather's never failed to make the '47 lb. weight limit, but, he still agreed anyway.

He just wants to make sure his opponents are clean. Especially dirty ones who lie to avoid the tests. And their dumb fans who make threads like this.

Floyd would have no choice but to comply and yknow, NOT cheat the scales.
Again, Mayweather has never weighed-in higher than '47, so that penalty is a bit extreme for the amount. If it was $1-$2 million, that would be reasonable, but they were expecting Mayweather to disagree with that request and he didn't.

You need to have proof that Mayweather signed a contract to fight at '47 and then he didn't make the contractual weight at '47 to even have leverage in requesting that amount of money.

This is where I think you guys are idiots. If mayweather never weighed over 147 then what is the problem? Then he would never have to pay the 10 million if he just simply does what he has to do. It is exactly the same if they said there is a 10 million dollar penalty if Floyd came in with no gloves. He is going to wear gloves anyway so he is not going to pay the 10 million either way. If somebody was going to pay me 30-50 mil and they said there is a 10 million dollar penalty if you wear a shirt, I ain't wearing a shirt anyway so pay me the 50 mil.

[why didn't floyd just ask the commission to conduct an investigation if he really thinks manny is on something? why not pressure the commission to improve their testing if they are truly insufficient?

floyd fans who say they want the sport to be clean, why not tell the commission "improve your testing!" instead saying "pacquiao, take the tests!"?

cause its all a smoke screen. floyd never wanted the fight in the first place. if manny agreed to the testing, he'll find another excuse to duck like that fucking vacation he just took.

the truth is staring right there in your face, but some of these guys keep riding their PED bandwagon...
The commission would never investigate anyone if they've already made it clear that they believe their testing is sufficient enough. It wasn't just Mayweather that question NSAC testing, but Tygart and Victor Conte themselves made it clear that their testing is out of date.

Updating that sort of procedure costs money and we're talking about Nevada. I'm pretty sure they're not fond of doling money out.

If you're a Pacquiao fan, it would make sense to just say "take test and make Mayweather eat his words." I mean, you have to wonder why somebody is so anti-random testing. The clean athlete says "throw me any test you got, my success is natural, and I'm clean."

And how can anyone say Mayweather didn't want the fight? How could Mayweather even possibly imagine that by the work of a miracle, the only way he could get out of this fight is by requesting random testing!?

That's far fetched because from day one of negotiations, they called for random drug testing. Then Pacquiao requested the weight, gloves, and penalty for weigh-ins and Mayweather accepted them all, right away. After he called all of Pacquiao's bluffs, Pacuiao's team made up excuses and left the room.

Somehow that translates to those who don't like Mayweather, as him ducking the fight... How?

Floyd and Roger will undergo extensive and ongoing drug testing when they are processed as new inmates at Nevada state prison next year
